Picks are always bet at your own risk. No one is forcing anyone to put money on a pick they read on the internet. Having said that, I know the risk and have tailed several plays that have won me money and a couple that lost. Why is this so hard for people to understand?
Hope you continue to post your selections Alien. They are much appreciated by much of the community |

Love your write ups. Very in-depth with ATS stats, defense/offense ratings, coach inputs, player inputs. Very undervalued in this forum. In light of other threads and this one getting some backlash for a couple losses, wanted to say thank you. I have been very profitable from your write ups and take this advise at my own risk as should everyone.
Now back to some football talk. Cuse have their hands full here and both Off and Def coordinators gone. 10+ point spread is nonetheless a lot to cover in a bowl. I think I am leaning the under. |

Hard to argue with 10-3 record last year. Definitely will be following this! Good luck!
3rd string qb for Florida is definitely a concern but if the kid can be a game manager with the short and easy passes and hand the ball off, I can see the light. PAC12 usually not very good in early kick off games and early bowl season games for that matter. Maybe Napier can pull one off here. |

What are your thoughts on the UAB/MiamiOH game? I was leaning UAB -10, now 11. I think I settled on waiting to see this one with my own eyes and live bet it. One team may just be there on a vacation to play in the sand. |

Lack of motivation, multiple player transfers and possible opt outs pending, team has been "off" all year long.
Every decent team Alabama has faced this year has been a close one, this one should be no different. |

Looking forward to another great bowl thread! Great way to start as I tailed on the under teaser and cashed in. Great idea and best of luck this season. |

Good thoughts on several games. Best of luck this bowl season.
I am also leaning the under for the Bama game but holding to see who all is out.
Love the thoughts on the ECU game. They should be very well motivated to end their season with a bang whereas Coastal's is more or less crashing |

There will always be a team left out that feels like they should be in. It will be no different than the 2024 playoff going to 12 teams and now the 13th/14th teams will be mad.
I think you are making this too complicated and as are the people saying Bama should be in. When you start getting into well this team beat this team but beat this team going to the playoffs, it just overcomplicates things. There are arguments for both sides of this matter, but at the end of the day Bama lost 2 games, that is it. |

Tennessee Clemson could be a great game, I just hate that Hendon is out.
I see this as a typical good bowl season year. I see some fun matchups. |

@BWS77 Bama fan here and I agree with you. The entitlement for many of my friends and arguments I have had is mind boggling. There are numerous fans that are so spoiled and entitled and expect to play for the championship every year. How many teams out there every single year do not even have a remote chance to play for such a game, championship or Sugar Bowl? This should be seen as an honor to play for the Sugar Bowl and add another trophy to the collection and beat a good team and the Big 12 championship team. Having said that, I do not think this team will be motivated and disciplined enough to cover a spread and win. I will touch on that later, but back to Alabama playoff woes and fanbase needing a reality check.... Bama has two losses. Period. End of discussion.
Back on subject: Looking forward to a great bowl season. I am looking to play many 1st half overs, pick the better team, and look for motivations to give a team an edge. Really really wish Hendon Hooker was not hurt. The orange bowl would be one of the better games of the season IMO. |

As already mentioned, LOVE this thread.
15 years of misery for Tennessee came to an end and in very dramatic fashion. It takes a lot to beat Alabama and it did for this game as well. 17 penalties, few questionable calls and no calls (nothing really different from many of Alabama's close wins/losses), outstanding QB play, and some bad special teams plays. I think I just saw Hyatt with another reception for a TD in Neyland with their missing goal posts. This Alabama team (coulda/shoulda/woulda) could be 4-3 right now and with a couple tough games remaining in the year. One would think that the scare against Texas and then yet another one against Texas A&M would wake this team up, but it did not. We are seeing lack of defense and a very undisciplined team.
Other games:
Michigan could have slaughtered PSU. Lots of costly errors in the first half. Michigan is looking more and more legit. Penn State overrated that badly? Or that good of a showing from UM?
The USC/Utah game was outstanding. A lot of back and forth. Caleb Williams I see the hype. He plays well and with heart. Hard way to lose that good of a game.
What an overall weekend for college football. Regardless if your team won and lost, this is why we love this sport. |

Great week and season so far! I was one of the few that though LSU stood a chance. Classic case of overthinking a game - why is the line this/what does vegas know plus was hoping for a Tennessee team looking ahead to the Bama game this week. Great capping sir. Best of luck this week. |

Week 0 = 0-3 (not posted, will not include in record) Week 1 = 10-3 Week 2 = 1-2-2 Week 3 = 5-9 Week 4 = 8-2 (not posted, will not included in record) Week 5 = 3-8 (not posted, will not included in record) Week 6 = 4-6-1 Total = 20-20
Some tid-bits:
Very very disappointed in LSU's lack of showing up. From the opening kick off, this game went the Vol's way and never let up. Tennessee is proving their are a top 10 team with victories like these. Next up is the Alabama revenge game
Alabama put on yet another bad and bland performance and found a way to win. Back up QB issues are obvious. Milroe takes one look to pass and then runs. Lackluster play-calling yet again from Bill OBrien. DBs will have their hands full against the Tennessee squad next week.
UAB game did not watch but sounds like most of what was predicted happened.
Auburn issues continue. Georgia just way too much to handle. In years prior, Auburn would really have a chance here but not with the O-line and coaching staff currently there. How about that punt from their own 30 early? What says "I don't want to work here anymore" more than that?
Troy handled business but lower scoring that expected by me. Really thought the passing game would get close to 30 here and the defense would let up a bit more points |

Got busy not posted the last couple of weeks. Had a really good week 4 and a really bad week 5. Does not matter since it is not posted much like my week 0.
This week we have some games I am interested in.
Alabama Texas AM - Bama -21 (bought 1.5) and Under 51.5 Score Prediction: Alabama 34 Texas AM 10 Revenge game for Alabama here, night game at Bryant Denny. Fans want vengeance for Jimbo bad mouthing Saban, players want revenge and Saban is a great motivator. Bryce Young SHOULD be out which means the run game will be heavy. Expect a large showing of Gibbs running and getting short passes to get Milroe going. Texas AM still having offensive woes. Expecting a good showing from the defense to make up from last weeks ugly showing allowing far too many points from Arkansas.
LSU Tennessee - LSU +3.5 Score Prediction LSU 34 Tenn 31 Tennessee gets caught looking ahead here to next weeks big game against Alabama. Sure they want to beat LSU and know they have a tall task ahead, but 15 years of getting beat by Alabama and now they think they have the team to bring them down. Death valley will be rocking even though this is an early one. Tennessee has played so well this season and will be required another excellent game to keep their top 10 status. LSU will be hungry for a top 10 victory and send Tennessee back down in the rankings this weekend.
UAB MTSU - UAB -9 Score Prediction UAB 31 MTSU 20 MTSU with a good start playing great football but the rushing attack for UAB controls the game. UAB gets back on track this week after a wake up call against Rice. UAB will keep converting these 3rd downs and churning the clock. Lean under as well but no play
Troy USM - Troy -6 and OVER 43.5 Score Prediction Troy 30 USM 17 Troy is a solid team this year. Losing by a hail mary to App state and only 18 points to a good Ole Miss team. Troy airs this out and continues the 400+ yard game average while holding strong at home at night against a USM team that is struggling offensively. Troy does enough to get the job done and FINISH.
Georgia Auburn Game UNDER 49.5 Score Prediction Georgia 38 Auburn 9 Georgia flexes again here in a game that is becoming more and more of a rivalry hype. Way too much defense on the Georgia side for Auburn to score much if at all this game. Georgia sees they are slipping the last couple of weeks and bring their A game back. Georgia should be able to move the ball however they want against that Auburn D-line. Expect a lot of mistakes from Auburn QBs.
Other plays - leans, hunches, or simply plays I liked from friends - all small plays Utah -3 ECU +3.5 Georgia -29 TCU -7 |
