A very successful bettor told me the final frontier of sports wagering is player props since many oddsmakers don't have the time to research each and every player stat. He said when you find it, be sure to hammer it. Sure enough, I was scanning player props for a meaningless San Antonio Spurs game, and Zach Collins had an Over\Under of 4.5 rebounds. Turns out, in the 30+ games he had played that season, Collins had cracked four rebounds just twice. I only won $35 on that, but it was literally the first legit mining moment that struck gold.

Best Betting Memory

I usually don't mess around with MLB, but I had a free bet, so for a random Tigers-Astros game, I parlayed the total of 5.5 runs (Under) and an Astros win. That game happened to be on TV that night, and Houston led 3-1 in the ninth, with Detroit getting their final at-bats. With two outs and a runner on, I had a cash out option of $34, or I could hang until the final out to claim the full $45. The batter had two strikes, so I decided to let it ride. Sure enough, the Detroit batter crushed a two-run homer to tie the game, crushing my parlay.
