It’s a pivotal Sunday in the NHL playoffs, and coming with it are some enticing NHL player props to target.

The Boston Bruins are trying to avoid both being blown out for a third straight game and falling down 3-1 in their series with the Florida Panthers. Meanwhile, the Edmonton Oilers return home after splitting in Vancouver for a Game 3 battle featuring the last two Canadian teams standing.

Check my free NHL picks below, with a three-leg parlay for your consideration.

NHL playoffs parlay picks May 12

  • Draisatl 3+ shots on goal
  • Boeser anytime goal
  • Barkov 1+ points

Best NHL parlay picks for Sunday

NHL parlay pick

Leon Draisatl 3+ shots on goal

Brock Boeser anytime goal

Aleksander Barkov 1+ points

Leon Draisatl 3+ shots on goal

Leon Draisatl was not even sure if he was going to play in Game 2 against the Vancouver Canucks with an ailment that limited him to a playoff-low 16:43 of ice time in Game 1. He not only played but was dominant, scoring a goal and setting up three others, his highest scoring output of the playoffs so far.

While the star Edmonton Oilers center sits second in scoring to teammate Connor McDavid, we’re targeting another area of effectiveness for Draisaitl in this parlay in shots on goal. He had four shots on Arturs Silovs in Game 2, the sixth time in seven games he’s posted at least three shots on goal in a game in these playoffs, including both games against the Canucks.

Draisaitl leads the Oilers in shots in the playoffs, his 30 ranking fifth in the entire league. With Edmonton pumping 31.5 shots per game on the Canucks in Round 2, expect Leo to continue to put pucks to the net.

Brock Boeser anytime goal

It was only a matter of time before Brock Boeser broke through against the Oilers in Round 2. He scored his first of the series and fifth of the playoffs, the first since a hat-trick performance against the Predators in Game 4 of their opening round series.

Boeser, a 40-goal man in the regular season, did major damage against Edmonton while the Canucks completed a four-game sweep. He opened the campaign with a four-goal performance against the Oil, finishing the series with six goals and seven points across those games.

Boeser is second among Vancouver forwards in ice time at 20:27 per game, trailing only linemate J.T. Miller, and he had the most power-play time among forwards in Game 2. I like him scoring in back-to-back games for the first time this postseason.

Aleksander Barkov 1+ points

Aleksander Barkov was named the first star in the Florida Panthers' 6-2 thrashing of the Boston Bruins in Game 3, picking up a pair of helpers and helping the Panthers move to a 2-1 series lead. This came after posting a two-goal, two-assist effort in a 6-1 Florida win in Game 2.

He’s now scored in every game in this series and has points in four straight postseason games overall. Barkov has been just fine performing at TD Garden of late, too. With that Game 3 goal, he now has a point in seven of his last nine visits to Boston, with four goals and 10 points.

Boston hasn’t had an answer for him so far, and until they do, picking Barkov to stay red-hot and find the scoresheet is the play for Sunday.

Our betting experts have scoured through today's NHL odds to find your best SGP bets for each game on Sunday's playoff slate:

Panthers vs Bruins same-game parlay (SGP)

Panthers moneyline

Over 5.5

Matthew Tkachuk to record 2+ points

The Panthers have exploded for six goals in each of the last two games and we’re getting a total set at 5.5? Yeah, sign me up.

We will also go with Matthew Tkachuk to record at least two points. Tkachuk had four multi-point games in the first round against the Lightning and racked up three assists on Friday night. The Panthers star should keep that going as he thrives on playing the villain role in front of the Boston faithful.

Canucks vs Oilers same-game parlay (SGP)

Canucks moneyline

Brock Boeser anytime goalscorer

If we're backing Vancouver to win, then we need some of its skaters to find the back of the net. Enter Brock Boeser.

While J.T. Miller has been the best all-around forward for the Canucks this postseason, Boeser has been the team’s best goal scorer as he's found the back of the net five times through eight games. This success could continue against the Oilers considering he's scored 11 goals over the past 17 meetings.
