First thing, just because some of you dont want or use the postal service, that doesnt mean the other 300 million plus people in the country dont want or use it.
Next thing, the post office doesnt cost tax payers one dime, so stop your crying.
Next thing, if the post office would have been charging more the last 30 plus years, they wouldnt be in the mess they are in now.
You can blame the workers all you want, but the thing is management screwed this up bigtime.
It really is funny how some of you guys on this site complain and cry about other occupations wages and benefits as being overpaid, but not once do any of you say your overpaid. I guess you all are deserving of what you get paid.
Go send a letter thru ups or fed ex and you will see its not gonna cost you 46 cents, your gonna pay at least 5 bucks. Pretty big difference from 46 cents. None of you cant see the mismangement in that? wake up and take the blinders off.
Now if the postal service does go out of business, you can bet your assssssssss ups and fed ex, will be pumping the cost of just mailing letters to God only knows what. I personally mail out a bunch of letters each month and i sure as hell dont want to get raped paying probably over 10 bucks a letter by these corporate chumps. On top of that fed ex and ups's businesses arent setup like the post office, so they would have to change a ton of things, which the costs would be passed down to the customers.
Honestly some of you should actually read and educate yourselevs on a subject before just running your mouths and crying about peoples jobs non stop.
There are millions and millions of people who still actually send their bills out thru the mail and dont want to pay online, especially with all the cyber crooks out there, trying to steal peoples info.
am sure none of these millions and millions people want to pay big bucks each month to mail letters.
They have said if the post office just raised stamps right now by 25 cents, it would solve all of their problems.
But you know what guys, keep wishing for the postal service, which isnt costing you anything to go out of business and hundreds of thousands of people to lose their jobs. That would be great for the economy
Long as its not your jobs, right guys
Also some of you might want to read your Constitution and what it says about the post office or do you guys just want to pick and choose what parts of the Constitution suit your needs? Cant have it both ways
