Before the Talking heads completely dismiss Maine as some sort of crazy state, that does not carry as much weight as Iowa or Florida, I would like to be the first one to congratulate Ron Paul on his first victory (hopefully of many).

Very nice.

I'm glad he got one under his belt, and in Romney's backyard as well.

Mainiacs are almost as bad as Louisiana............. they live off the water.

Ya...... the property taxes are paid but owners live in NY or PA.

If you can convince the local Mainacs...... doing something right.

In Maine convicted felons can vote..  no felony disenfranchisement in the Pine Tree State...no sir.

In fact, they may cast their votes from prison.....

Check..

Romney also won the vote at the Washington conference of CPAC with 38 % ..a straw poll Ron Paul won the last two years, but didn't attend this year ..

Instead Dr.Paul took his Paulistinian Army and Seal team 6 strategy of gathering delegates,to Maine ...to collect as many delegates as possible, to have an influence on the GOP plateform ..in Tampa.

Cashin - only 84% of counties reported yesterday. One was canceled by the maine gop in washington cty (weather) yet the girl scouts had their event in the same county

They (gop) will not let rp get a strawvote win. However i read a post last night from the rp camp that they are leading in delegates. They are tracking at the precinct level. Typically delegates vote the way their caucus voted. Not so this time. RP has a ton of delegates who will vote foer rp at state conventions in the coming months

KOAJ - yeah, I watched the video on that with Wead. Interesting - may be a brokered convention down the road for the 1st time since 1940.

Why do you think talking heads, specifically fox news talkin heads have been so against Paul over the years?

Because he is outside the desired status quo...not much real difference between any other candidate republican or democrat
