Currently there are 435 House members 253 ( D ) 178 ( R )
100 Senators 59 ( D ) 41 ( R )
I will go first...
I say the GOP gains 50 seats in the house, getting the number to 228 That leaves the Democrats with 203, and the GOP controls the House
The Senate will be tougher to get control of though. While Robert KKK Byrd's seat is now in play, I don't think the GOP takes the majority.
I think they pick up 9 seats, leaving it 50-50 with VP Biden breaking any tie votes ( Lieberman and Ben Nelson could also easily vote conservative at any time )
* Since World War II, the House of Representatives has flipped parties on six occasions (1946, 1948, 1952, 1954, 1994, and 2006). Every time, the Senate flipped too, even when it had not been predicted to do so.

I think the repubs will get the 50 in the House and may even do better than that.
The dems that smell smoke are promising to "fix" the healthcare bill if reelected. Isn't that a riot? You voted for the fucking monstrosity, you own it bitch. Like any one would believe they'd fix anything if they keep their positions. It's going to be a bloodbath. When 500,000 people go to DC for a rally, their pissed off. Think of how many would've like to attend. Millions.....

I hope the Republicans get more, at least the above would put the Congress in gridlock. We need that to stop this wild spending by the Democratic President and the Congress. I hope the Republicans are not over confident and start supporting Democrats because of a bitter loss in the primary. We especially need for Queen Nancy to lose the Speaker position, I guess it is too much to hope for that the people in her district come to their senses and vote her out. I will still hope for it and for Reid to lose his seat in the Senate.

House: Republicans plus 50.
Senate: Republicans plus 8.

It won't matter unless they have the balls to drastically reduce spending and actually ELIMINATE some of the federal govt. specifically Obamcare, and the BS Cap and Trade save the planet stuff, and then tackle the bankrupting entitlements like Medicare, Medicaid and Soc Sec, and reign in out of control bureaucracies like the EPA.
If all they do is bicker and whine and pass another budget that borrows 1 trillion, what the diff?

Two years ago I predicted the House would win a huge majority and Mrs. Honorable would become speaker. And, that the Senate would would win 60.
This time the right-wing media has succeeded in conning the young folks into believing that the current unemployment rate is Mrs.Honorable's fault. Therefore, I predict the following numbers ...
House
D 218 R-217
Senate
D 53 R 47
Close but no cigar.
