Curious who you guys think are some WR's with some value that can be acquired in later rounds or even some big sleepers for deeper leagues?
I see Matt Jones being a very solid pick who may be available in rounds 8 or 9. He should be the number 1 in Jacksonville and should prove to be more then capable of a number 3 WR spot on fantasy teams. If he can stay healthy I believe a top20 season is within reach.
With Darrell Jackson now playing in San Fransisco, the potential exists for DJ Hackett to have a very productive season. He should start opposite Deon Branch whom I've never been overly amazed with. Hackett proved to be a capable reciever last year and if Hasselbeck stays healthy he should be very productive and a pleasant fantasy surprise.
A couple of others guys who can be acquired in later rounds and should provide great value at the WR spot are Vincent Jackson in San Diego and Mark Clayton in Baltimore. Jackson has emerged as the number 1 reciever in San Diego and should provide a needed down field target for Phillip Rivers (whom I'm very impressed with). Clayton should surpass Mason in Baltimore and become the go to guy. McNair's age and declining skills do worry me a little if I'm drafting Clayton though. Clayton's teammate Demetrius Williams in another reciver to keep an eye on in deep leagues.
With Michael Clayton in TB proving that he was nother but a flash in the pan, the door opens for second year player Maurice Stovall to step in and get some playing time and catches. I'm not yet sure who will be throwing him the ball (I'd start Garcia). Like Demetrius WIlliams though , Stovall should only be considered as a very late round pick in deeper drafts.
Two other guys maybe to keep an eye on are Mike Williams (new start and one of his USC coaches could be good for him) and Troy Williamson (someone has to catch some passes in Minnesota right).
These are just a few that I will keep my eye on on draft day. I've love to know what anyone else thinks and who some of your sleeper WR's are.
