Peyton Hillis or Tolbert?  Not sure who to start, but I have to start one of them, no other options.

I was thinking Tolbert also, but was just kind of concerned because he didn't practice yesterday and looks to be limited for the game.

From what I hear, Hillis isn't doubtful and is expected to get 25 to 30 carries, only problem being SF has a stiffling run defense.

Where you see he may play?  If he gets 25-30 carries I would go with him, but don't see it happening.  on other hand I would be nervous because Tolbert didn't practice either as you said.

this is what I seen on Hillis

Peyton Hillis (hamstring) missed practice Thursday, as expected.

"Everyone I've talked to believes he will not play this week," said Jason LaCanfora on NFL Network's Around the League Live Thursday evening. ESPN's Adam Schefter also reported Thursday that Hillis' status is now in doubt for Sunday's game against the 49ers. Montario Hardesty is in line for a heavy workload against fantasy's stingiest defense for opposing running backs.

Doesn't look good either way.  Just saw as you saw that Hillis probably won't play on Sunday and news on Tolbert is this:

Tolbert (hamstring/hand) did not practice Friday, San Diego Union-Tribune writer Kevin Acee reports.

Recommendation: Tolber's status for Monday is still clear, but this isn't a good sign. Even if he plays, it looks like he'll lose more work than usual to Ryan Mathews.

Wish I had an alternative!

My only other option I see is to maybe pick up Reggie Bush.
