These numbers haven't seen the front page of the Florida lottery website in over 18 years. Just to put that in perspective, let's take another 2 number combo, 0-0-5-5. That combination of numbers has hit 9 times since Feb. 2006. I found another 2 number combo that hadn't hit since Feb.1997 that just hit last month, 3-3-9-9, a nearly 16 year hiatus.
Most players have their own numbers they play, but if you believe in the law of averages, even just a little bit, expect in the very near future the numbers 5-5-9-9. 18.5 years is a very long time!
If you play a combination on these numbers, it will cost you $3 for a $2500 payout, a $6 play will get you 5 grand. Remember, on a "combo" play, your numbers need not be in any particular order, i.e., 9-5-9-5, 5-5-9-9, 9-9-5-5, 5-9-5-9 would all be winners.
