If there is money on the line then some one is cheating...
That being said, I think the "major" sites are pretty legit. Bots and collusion will always be a problem but I don't think it's a rampant as some people believe. I don't think bots make a game unbeatable, and I think most cheaters (collusion) still wind up being losing players (or get caught).
Just make sure to get some tracking software so, if you find that you have been cheated, you'll have actual proof.

I use Poker Tracker 3 although I hear good things about Hold'em Manager. Not sure if they run on Mac however.
I think Mac has Poker Co-pilot...

#15 Posted: 9/22/2010 2:17:49 PM FullTilt has by far the best set up. If you like action Rush Poker is awesome. That beig said I havent played online in a couple of months now, due to the horrific beats that I was taking. Just made it not fun even when I was winning. FTOPS events are lots of fun, but I tend to make my $$$ playing heads up poker. |

#20 Posted: 12/29/2010 3:17:41 PM Id play FT with rakeback until your roll supports play at 200nl and up. Then make theshift to stars. Stars has no rakeback and the rewards system isnt really equitable until you are playing 200nl+

PT3 and HEM perform roughly the same function. The trick is being able to understand the metrics and extrapolate proper conclusions from them. Try out both on their trials and see which heads up display works better for you.
Here is a helpful article on setting up you screen display and interpreting stats.
BOL.

Huh? I cant tell if youre knocking me or what. As far as I can tell folks on this forum are losing players. Im just trying to offer my 2c to assist them in beating the game.
Pro? No.
Winning player? Yep.
Do you relly play 500nl or is that you being facetious? My grind game is 200 plo8. Happy to discuss constructive issues with open minded players who want to beat the game, not interested in a thread with shortsighted nits.
Which one are you?

Ok so after re-reading I realize you may not be familiar with standard poker terminology.
200nl does NOT mean 200-400 blinds.
200nl refers to the standard 100 BB buy in for 1-2 DOLLAR nl.
This is the standard nomenclature for poker. Just thought I should clarify.

#25 Posted: 12/30/2010 11:04:26 AM Feltstars.com has no malicious software that is snuffed the way all your other sites up to and including cake poker do, by good anti-malwar software. If you are looking for good no visible, no access, no read, no write protection for programs, foders, files, drives and all that garbage go to http://www.newsoftwares.net This garbage even has stealth mode and can block devices, ports, and your recovery partition. Pretty good stuff. |
