I am a big MotoGP fan, and have been for years. A very intersting story is coming out of Turkey this week, just before the upcoming MotoGP race.
Today American golden boy Nicky Hayden and rookie Dani Pedrosa clocked the fastest times in practice. The Istanbul Park circuit has been dominated by Valentino Rossi and Loris Capirossi over the past few years.
Rossi apparently was so upset with his results from the practice that he vented to the media.
In his press conference Rossi spoke on his very 'hush hush' test he had with Ferrari's F1 team. Rumor were around during the winter that he was only tenths of a second of Schumacher at Monza during some winter testing.
Rossi let the press know that he was unhappy with his bike, performance and would be seriously considering a move to F1. Going on to say that he would make his final decision in the next few months, and potentially before the MotoGP season has come to a close.

Good read King. In my opinion, he's going nowhere King. I think Ferrari will be made up of Raikonnen and Schumi in 2007. Massa the madman will have to find another ride next year, that's for sure. Rossi won't have any possible ride in F1 other than Scuderia and he won't be getting it next year.
Raikonnen won't be staying at McLaren to partner alongside Alonso. Can't blame the guy. A lot of spotlight will be taken from him.
Of course, in F1 anything can happen. Hell, if Alonso can suck Ron's balls behind Flavio's back...

I agree, Rossi is likely to face some serious competition for the second seat with Ferrai, especially as Raikkonen has reportedly signed a letter of intent with them for next season.
It may be a streatch, but I wouldn't be shocked if the top brass at Farrari would like to have a Italian superstar behind the wheel.

ATStar, it's a two-wheel equivalent of F1 in terms of prestige.

King, there seems to be a pattern with these fellow guinea race drivers/riders...they seem to cry a lot when the going gets tough ... Trulli, Fisichella, and now Rossi. Makes me sick.
