Carlos Pena is finally back for the Rays, as if they needed more "pop" in their line-up.  So is SS Jason Bartlett after missing two games to be with his wife and new baby.  Pittsburg is starting a double A pitcher tonight.  Did I mention that Kazmir is on the mound coming off a loss.  When Kaz is coming off a loss, that really is bad news for an opposing team.  Kaz don't like to lose.  Ever.

I agree Easy, if they think Joba the Hutt was a tough pitcher, wait until they see Kaz.  Although Kaz looks like the pro handicapping angle here, I am more focused on the Rays bats vs the rookie out out of Atlanta(Barthmaier).  I think he is walking into a snake pit while facing one of the hottest hitting teams in the Majors.  I think the nerves set in and the walks pile up early.  The Rays will be patient early on and force the kid to throw strikes.

The pitching matchup way too lopsided. You would think Kaz may lose focus because of this unfair pitching matchup but not at all after a loss.  TB bats will be in full effect

This seems like the easiest call of the day (which makes me somewhat nervous)...Rays playing great, Pena coming off DL, Kazmir pitching....Rays ML

Yeah, all things seem to point towards TB. But I hate it when the opposing team's get a new pitcher on the mound that the bats will be unfamiliar with. They're either really shit or really good.

Kazmir faced buccos once, and it was a disaster: 9 earned runs in 4.2 innings. Going with home boys.

Pronk, that was 3 years ago when the Rays were the worst team in Baseball and Kazmir was basically a rookie.  I think times have changed slightly.  Would'nt you agree?
