With matsuzaka as a late scratch, i have to take the RedSox now, as all of the money will be on Halladay because, let's be honest, he is the better pitcher. But because their bullpen is so shoddy, the Bluebirds have had to pitch him 27 innings in his last 3 starts. Add to that he has given up 5 earned runs the last two starts at Fenway, and you have the makings of a home dog upset.
Lester is facing the Bluebirds at home for the first time ever, but he held the Bluebirds to just one earned run in a game the Boston bullpen blew. Now for the skinny on Boston the team.
The Sox have lost 5 straight games, and the return home comes after a sweep at the hands of the red hot D-Rays. They are not in a great mood right now. Converseley, the Jays are terrible, and have dropped 6 of their last 7 contests, and it won't get any better with an offense that has only averaged 3 runs over their last 7 games. Not good when on the road facing a defending chamion that is in a disasterous losing streak.
Boston +100 even money (Wow! What a bargain)

Stylistic, throw the fuking stats out in the back yard. Baseball is hardest sport I've ever seen to predict. You can study all you want but it makes no difference. Really furstrasting to say the least. Don't get wrong though, I'm just venting. Like your picks, just pissed at baseball. Can't seem to get a handle on it for some reason. St.Louy should have creamed those guys tonight but look what happened. Shit! And you know what i mean. Not a sore loser, just aggraveated to hell won' have it. lol.

Toronto can't hit lefties and the sox were swept by Toronto in early April. Boston win big here and gets out of their slump. We have seen this too many times before.

Don't worry. I went O- fer yesterday. i couldn't throw a stone into the ocean. That's just the way things are in this thing of ours. One year you're hot, one day you're not. Can't really go against Halladay, he's too tough. The Jays have a history of not hitting well against guys who make their debut against them or facing them for the first time. I'd say go with the under GLA

the red sox arent good buddy. if they werent playing at fenway half they year. they'd be an average team at best. guys like lowell youkilis pedroia lugo they all hit flyballs off the monster that would be routine flyballs anywhere else. oh ya and it took you 95 years or whatever it is was to win a world series. didnt the red sox get swept by the jays at the rogers centre hmmmmm.... i betcha alot of guys would have great numbers hitting in that park i betcha greg zaun would bat .300 with 20 hrs

I took a look at the pitching match-up and was going to take TOR right away. But the B-Jays have been having a horrid road trip. And the revenge factor has to be weighing heavy, on the players in that Red Sox dugout.
