After seeing what i saw in that last game, I am done here for the year. I have never been more livid about such horrendously biased officiating in my life. When leon powe gets to the line 4 times in a row for throwing elbows at laker defenders and then falling off balance, and farmar gets one arm yanked and throws up a "just because i SHOULD be about to go to the line" 3 pt play attempt... and don't even get me started on what gasol put up with... lakers saw 10 free throws and the celtics shot 38... it was bad in game 4 of the pistons series, but this was ridiculous...it didn't matter how much we attacked an aggressive defense (who have NEVER been afraid to foul and hit hard), it didn't matter how much we were fouled or how fairly or passively we played defense, the refs were against the lakers to night... 38-10... that's all i need to say. The spurs played tough, non-aggressive defense... that's why they didn't foul the hell out of the lakers... there's no excuse for the celtics. Lakers were establishing pace, holding a lead, then bam the officials decided that they wanted to have a say in the winner... The lakers were NOT less aggressive. We attacked JUST as much, but despite our reputation as a "finesse defense", the refs still found excessive brush-ups to screw us.
i will not talk to any celtics fans because any honest observer knows that there is no pride to be taken from a game in which the officials hand you a W and you still almost let the other team come back, yet i'm sure all those cocky mfer's are going to break out the "told you so's" for lakers fans, like that was actually a fair game.
anyone that responds to this is essentially talking to themselves... i'm done betting... i'm done posting in the NBA forum this year... i made some good money ... i will just watch my boys and hope that they get fired up by all this bull crap and root for a come back...

My initial thought is that by opening the line at -9.5 Vegas is trying to get all early money on BOSTON, especially the ML players.I think the line will drop down to -8 around gametime which is when I plan to jump all over the lakers. There are two things that I am on
1. If a team loses game 1 and 2 on the road, they come back to win and cover game 3 at home 86% of the time.
2. Gotta check the numbers close to gametime if it shows that over 80% on BOS ML and over 60% is on BOS + points I am going to unload on LAL - chalk

There's still plenty of value in this series, but it's on the Boston side as Kong has already stated. No matter how much you hate the C's (I'm no Celtics fan btw), that's where the value is. Simply too much love for the Lakers atm.
