I will give orlando the benefit of the doubt, and say that they had a bad game due to being off for five days.....so maybe they were rusty....DEWIGHT HOWARD said its was frustration...i wonder what they excuse will be this time when they lose again?? i said that the x-factor in this series would be BILLUPS&HAMILTON....which proved correct in game 1 as they outscored orlando's backcourt 36-11.....
QUOTE: "Billups scored a game-high 19 points Saturday night, even though he rested during the lopsided fourth quarter, and Hamilton had 17 points to outscore Orlando's starting backcourt by 25.Almost at will, Billups blew past Nelson off the dribble and Hamilton curled around screens to get open for mid-range jumpers against Maurice Evans."Chauncey drove the ball and he's a very strong guy so if he gets an angle and drops that shoulder, good luck getting in front of him," Magic coach Stan Van Gundy said. "Rip around screens is the best in the league. Since Reggie Miller retired, he's the best catch-and-shoot player coming off screens in the NBA.".....END QUOTE-
However ,i do expect orlando to be more aggressive ,and play their game which is getting out and running the court ,with a better 3pt%..... but in the end....all i see is another detroit ats win......DETROIT-OVER

To hell with research, Detroit wins by 6 again. Square plays have been money in this seasons playoffs, don't over complicate things if you don't have to CM.

Hopefully Dwight's thumb is still bruised and he won't be able to perform full out. Leaning towards Detroit again this game. Probably ORL1Q,Detroit1stH

not much to say here. Detroit is detroit and I will keep riding that in this series. Orlando may be better than the rest of the east, but detroit is still a more complete, experience, talented team to get beat by orlando in a series.
As for the over, the only reason it didn't hit last time is because orlando went retardedly flat and made it further unnecessary for detroit to score, even though they had enough points on the board. I'll call that a fluke game and double up this time around

What DET did in the 3rd & 4th qrt last game with their Defense was awesome. I was truely impressed.
For that reason I'm takin
DET -6
I don't wanna hear about fingers or lame excuses from players. They were getting owned early in the 3rd. Orlando's 3's were . They'll keep it close for awhile until the 4th were hopefully Detriot's D comes to play BIG and Orlando's 3's start to dwindle.
Orlando is missing home court and should do much better back in Florida.

After watching the first game, I think that there is no way in hell that this total goes over 185. This was like watching snails or turtles run their offense. I was on the over, and kept urging and urging them to move, but they use the entire shot clock to get a shot, and Orlando was doing it 60% of the time as well. I was so frustrated, I was stupid to play against a home team's playing style, especially when it's the playoffs and the team is defensively oriented. This total should be at like 175 instead.

Still undecided, I cashed in on Detroit last game, while the whole thread and betting public was on Orlando. I think the sheep will be led to take Detroit this game due to their dominating win. Orlando ML or plus 6 is starting to look good. Do you guys think Vegas is going to let an easy one get away???? Nope.

Ok ladies and gentledudes...this is the best that I could come up with for this game. Detroit played great in Game 1...mostly on the defensive side of the court. However, as I said in my analysis of that game, some of the credit has to go to the fact that the Magic hadn't played a game in almost a week. When you are a streak shooting team like the Magic, that extra rest isn't a good thing. When you are on older, more physical team like the Pistons, that's when you need the rest.
I am still taking the Pistons here at the half, even though it just missed out last game, I think they come out pretty quickly here and try and kill the Magic early on. However, the shooting for the Magic will inevitably start to click, as they are just too good for it not to. Dwight Howards thumb might become a factor, but he will still be a force inside as far as rebounds and blocked shots. I would lean towards Orlando for the spread because I do think it will be closer towards the end of the game, and that's where the 6 points worries me. For that reason, I am going to tease this bad boy up 6 points, and try and rest easier.
