They shouldn't have pissed LeBron off. Washington really should win this series, but I don't think they'll take one on the road this early. They've given LeBron too much incentive by trash talking the Cavs and until people learn to stop talking trash to LeBron, he will continue to shine under duress and in the fourth until the Wiz finally admit that they regret opening their mouths.

Like the Cavs in this spot too. LeBron is fired up and the Cavs should win this one close. Not to mention Agent Zero is hurt:
"Gilbert Arenas did not practice on Sunday after Wizards doctors
determined he has a sprained right (shooting) wrist. He did not mention
the injury after Saturday's game, but it stiffened up overnight and he
was having trouble during a simple shoot-around.
There is no word on how serious the sprain might be, but we should have an update soon."

I called over in the first game and lost ....and after careful observation and analyzation i see that the only reason why the game went under was becuz the wizards went cold in the 4th qt.....it wasnt becuz of the cavs defense more than it was simply shots didnt fall the wizards way....they had good looks though...which makes me understand why the spread is 1.5(CAVS)......think about it...even with the cavs getting to the free throw line 37x to washingtons 14x...the cavs still only won by 7pts...had the wizards shots fell in the fourth qt. , it would have been over the total as well as anybodys game......look 4 the wizards to be more aggressive....getting to the free throw line for more pts......OVER IS THE PICK........

I'm starting to like the over too... these teams have kinda become rivals over the last 3 years and while both of them can play defense, they can both score. I think a shootout is set to happen. I think Arenas will play and between him, caron, stevenson and a few others, they can all put up big shots to drive up the score. I may lay off the game and stick to the over... good call Nightridah

I like the over as well but please be careful. I watch this team every game and they are night and day on the road. When this series get backs to D.C. take the over and go to a fuckin movie or something and laugh at the total b/c it will not be close. But on the road completely different style of play. Just give this one another look and please everyone get off Lebron's dick. If you were the only true scorer on the team almost every nba player could put up numbers like him. He is gifted athletically i will give him that. Not a Wizards fan, actually hate them more than any franchise but tonight they even it up. Should have won game one and will game two.

Nightridah you are making great points for the Wizards to come out on top I dont know how those things point to the over for the game. I would just bet the Wizards for all those over backers or even the Wizards total but the play here is the Wizards.

I don't know how LeBron is walking today after the beating he took. Hack-A-Lebron hurt me to watch yesterday. Lebron is hands down one of the top Fourth Qtr clutch players in the game and should finish this one off just like he did yesterday.

I'm thinking this game goes over the total of 186. Game 1 looked a little tight to be on both sides and that should definitely loosen up here. LeBron didn't hit a shot in the 1st quarter, you know that's going to change, and the Wizards went ice cold later in the game. Butler was pretty much non-existent for a majority of the game and other than Ilgauskas and LeBron, the other Cavs did very little.
What I believe the Cavs will do in this one is have LeBron share the ball as much as possible in the first half, getting his teammates involved, especially since the Wizards are probably going to double team him at any chance they get. This will open up the style of play in the 2nd half. I have this game ending up between 191-196.

uhhh why do the linesmakers think the cavs are less favored....
1st game was -3.5 / -4
now just -1.5..... i'm sure the public is gonna maul that one.
actually, this is pretty much just standard procedure in the NBA playoffs, especially in series people think will be hotly contested (i.e. wiz/cavs, suns/spurs, mavs/hornets)... all 3 road teams lost but all 3 pointspreads came down... it is because these series are expected to be 1-1 after 2 games... no conspiracy here...
that said, the only pick that makes sense in game 2 is Wash, unless of course Arenas really is hurt...
however, my real reason for posting is to tell people to go bet the Suns (+165) and Mavs (+195) to win their series... the value on them is great right now... if you just want 1, then it's the Suns... it's hard to recommend it, since the Suns most noteworthy attribute seems to be their ability to find new ways to lose a game... but from a value point you have to take it... they dominated game 1 (as expected) and only lost due to countless bonehead plays down the stretch... i expect them to build a VERY big lead in the 3rd quarter and not blow it this time... that puts the series at 1-1, giving you +165 on the team holding home court...
