I am liking the Spurs-3 in this matchup. With all of the issues regarding minute mixing hurting the Hornets last night against the Rockets, the Spurs are intact, and coming off a non cover against the T-Wolves. The Hornets must go down in order for the Spurs to come up.

The free throws down the stretch will hurt the Hornets. Chandler can be relied upon to miss at least 5 free throws a game. Hilton Armstrong is the Larry Hughes of the Hornets. This is a big game. You have to rock with the Spurs in big games. they have let downs in the lower toer games, but in this one, ther is serious value in taking the Spurs-3 at home where they have a distinct advantage and one of the best home records in the league despite several injuries and the trade. defense prevails in this one.

Either way, I'm thinking about N.O. 1st half.  I know playing half and game in opposite directions is generally bad form, but with the Spurs, it just seems different.  Might get scared off this, because I don't know too well how SA does in revenge games and I know they want it here, but I'm tossing the idea around...
