LeBron James also has a new malady to deal with. Still shaking off a week-old right ankle sprain, James jammed his right thumb going to the basket early in the game and had his hand totally wrapped in ice after his 32 point, seven-rebound, six-assist night. He wasn't sure if it would affect him against the Hawks.
The Cavs (27-21), who had their two-game winning streak snapped, felt the pinch of not having power forwards

I am leaning towards ATL here...Lebron can't do it all by himself as evident last night. IMO.

if lebron doesnt play well the cavs lose.
 
Im staying away they have to play better than last night and they dont have to deal with yao......im staying away especially with lebron not 100 percent

No Gooden, Varajeo, Sasha and Houston easily took care of biz. Lebron will play tonite, but they are really shortahanded. Atl is a way better team at team. They cover here.

I like ATL here if I play this one at all.  I just don't like games where key players are playing hurt or ailing...

mmmm, so hard to call....but i do think Cavs can bounce back from the game against Rockets but the game got to put more effort on it to come out with the W.

WOW  you all are scaring me off Atl...the other night noone was with them but because they beat the Lakers when they came to town all of this ATL support all of a sudden?? i might take this one off...GL to all you of you though...

The reason ATL will win this easily is that Cavs have no d right now and add in they are btb. Bad situation.

I"m keeping it simple and going with the over in this one.  We all know that Atlanta can easily put up 100 on their home court on a regular basis.  We also all know that Atlanta likes to take about half the game off on the defensive end.  Really no reason why this game should not go over 187

Daniel Gibson is out for this game too, I don't see why the Hawks don't cover here, but maybe the OVER is the way to go.

Once again gang, I was the only one on the covers thread who took Atlanta against the Lakers.  The Hawks can and will beat anyone on their home court.  Packed Friday night at Phillips.  They will be on their game..trust me.
