I like the way that San Antonio is being overlooked right now. They are still the defending champions. The Pacers are not that good. They take too many ill advised shots to compete with San Antonio

Wow, I took an 1-4 beating today but man, Mondays have been really rough for me this past month. Looking to bounce back here with this game.
For me, I'm taking the under 194.5 in this game....The pacers play no defense but scores a lot, and SA has trouble scoring right now but play great D. Who do u think willl impose their will in this game?? I think it's going to be SA, this game will be a SA pace, and we all know what that is, a grind it out, mid 80s game...I mean maybe with the bad D by IND, this could be a low 90s game, but still I can't see it reaching the 194.5
Just my 2 cents

i always see indi keeping it really close with teams, good or bad, in the first half.... i like to play them alot + the points in the first and then watch them blow it in the end. i dont really think theyll be able to do much on the spurs D tho, ill prob play the spurs -3 for a unit

I would back away from a play on San Antonio here because they have not covered in Indiana since about this time 5 years ago. The home team simply owns this series and i think that will continue today. So I will most likely be waiting for this line to get up to 4 or 5 (possibly) and backing Indiana. The Pacers will put up at least 100 points just like they did their last 6 home games. While, San Antonio could take a break here as they are heading east midway thru a painful 10 game road trip that will see them play 3 games in the next 4 nights. Coming off a surprise win in Phoenix, San Antonio probably will decide they do not want to run and tire themselves out with Indiana and save their energy for a road trip that will include games against some more physical eastern opponents. Mark my words San Antonio will let Indiana have this game and then try to make a run late in the game. Indiana will use this oppurtunity to try and get a much needed win as before O'neal went down they looked like an 8th seed in the East.

Indy still has the 8th seed to fight for and their hunger has shown through with a tight game against Houston & close one w/ Orlando. Though riding a 6 game losing streak they are due to stop the slide. If it is SA -6 or -5 by mid-morning, leaning towards Pacers.

Have you guys noticed how bad Indiana has been lately. They like to lose games by double digits. They are a bad team that fools people into thinking they are good due to their explosive offense. The Spurs should have no problem defending their perimeter shooters and give up nothing inside. The game should go under also, the Spurs will not let them run and gun. If they can slow the Suns down they can easily slow the Pacers down.

Kong, the scores were NOT double digits in their last 3, losses to Pistons (110-104), Rockets (106-103) & Magic (121-115). Although they way they play against the top tier teams it could´ve easily BEEN double digits. They do have heart, their not quittin on the season yet ! But then again they´re going against the defending champs with arguably the best power foward/center this decade and locksmith defense.
Kong you had changed my mind yesterday from Dallas to taking the Mavs. I won my parlay yesterday Mavs +4.5, Rockets -5 & Bulls -1 because of your SUCKER bet comment.
Do I roll with the hand that helped feed me tonight or go against the sage ?

why are you fading the heavyweights, if they helped you win money the night before? the intelligent wagerer follows the advice of the heavyweights, and then studies the game for him/herself to see why the heavyweight made the decision that they did. Kong is giving you sound advice.
You said that you weren't having that much good luck. Well Kong is. I suggest you follow his lead and start to make money intead of dreaming about getting paid. He's a sound wagerer. If he says San Antonio, then San Antonio it is.
Good luck anyway which ever path you choose.

when a man´has bad luck all kinds of uncertainty washes over him.´But that´s why I took Dallas yesterday because thanks to the heavyweights like yourself were so confident in that pick. But a team that scores in bundles at home and a crowd that can get boisterous (I have been to Pacers games & lived there for a spell) especially for the defending champs being in town makes me waver,
Thanks for the honest advice, really is appreciated. Good points all around. Been an avid NBA fan since knee high to a grasshopper and that independent rebellious feeling of taking a risk pops up too often.
You had an awesome night last night & good luck to you as well.

I'm glad you won your parlay Gringo...that's awesome!!!
Thanks for the praise CK.....
I have a good feeling SA has turned the corner and the fading should stop now. I am comparing this game to a Detroit-Indiana game. SA plays lights out smothering D, just like Det. We all know how often Indiana gets bitch slapped by Detroit. They will keep this game close, but I feel the undisciplined play style of Indiana will kill them in this game. SA will come in focused and looking to make a run towards the play-offs. I was one of the biggest SA rippers over the last two weeks. When they manned up and beat PHO,(As CK predicted), It made me realize that this team has the ability to be who they once were.
Homies, it starts tonight in Indiana. GL
SPURS......buy a couple for insurance if you want.

Glad I got the SA Line @ -4. Because the line has now moved up to where it should more appropriately be. SA wins this game 101-95. Staying away from the total

San Antonio returned home for some rest and relaxation before heading back on the road tonight. The four days off will is the 7th time this season in which the Spurs have had 3+ days of rest heading into a game. In their previous six occasions, they’ve held their opponents to only 87.3 points per game with an average combined score of just 176.8 points per game. The Spurs want to play slow, facing an Indiana team that wants to get up and down the court. San Antonio is the league’s best at dictating a slow pace, and when forced to play slow, the Pacers do not get over the total. The Pacers are an incredible 16-0-1 Under the total this year.
San Antonio lost their offensive firepower when Tony Parker and Brent Barry were lost with injuries, and with newly acquired Damon Stoudamire expected to see his first action tonight, don’t expect the Spurs to get caught playing Indiana’s style. The Spurs have played 10 straight games Under, and another low scoring game will be played here tonight.

All the regulars pretty much have this one nailed. Indy plays no defense but still puts up a good amount of points. San Antonio has been exclusively defense for quite a while now. Spurs are bad on the road, Pacers are about average and are on the tail end of a decent sized home stand. This game falls under my teaser of the night. Just too tough to call because I think Indiana can keep it close and possibly win the game based on how they have played against some really good teams in the past week or so. The only problem is that the Spurs have had almost a week off, and will be primed and ready for this game.
Indiana +10 UNDER 200

Dont be suprised if INDY wins this outright. They play real tough at home with lots of energy and accompained by a pretty solid bench (Murphy,Williams,Tinsley) expect them to play a major role against SA's lowly bench. I expect a good effort to cover the spread if not a win outright.

Hey all. I am new to covers but have been following post for awhile now. I started the NBA season off going 32 -9 but have taken a big plunge as of late a lot of times winning 2 out of 3 in a parlay or have been missing some by just a few points costing me hundreds.
So if anyone has some good advise for me on tonights game let me know.
My 3 team parlay for tonight is
Washington & Philly OVER 189.5
Cleveland & Boston UNDER 187
San Antonio & Indians Over 194
