#9 Posted: 6/9/2012 5:37:51 AM I think Boston is old and probably will lose this game, but I got to think the boys will leave it all out on the floor in this one, last go round,if they lose this, the party's over, the window will close, they will go out swinging in this one.Pressure is ALL on Miami and LeBron, its like the free throw line, King James, and we all know how much you like to sink those clutch free throws.....NOT!!!
BOSTON+8 I DON'T NEED TO TEASE garbage!!! |

#11 Posted: 6/9/2012 10:24:44 AM Boston tease and over sounds good. However, I'll just stick with Celtics +8 and cash in. Just a game ago almost everyone was wondering how in the world Miami was gonna win another game to get to game 7. They were Boston's whipping boy. And now the public is yelling Miami is gonna blast them again and Boston can't hang. Really? Nope. Miami MAY win but it's gonna be tight.
There is a reason Boston has won 6 of the last 10 meetings outright, covering 8 times or 80%. Boston also won 2 of the last 5 meetings outright in Miami, covering 4 of 5. What part of any of that above suggests Miami will blast Boston a second game in a row? Miami win? Probably, not definitely. Miami cover? Nah, they'll have to do everything they can to even notch a slight margin win.
Take the points and enjoy the battle. The Celtics know this may be their last chance with their older players, they'll give it a hard run. Grisly vets usually show up big for games like this. Both sides should go at it full tilt and the game will be contested to the end.
Kinda liking this PROP BET alot...no team will ever lead by more than 16 points in the game. |

#15 Posted: 6/9/2012 1:35:21 PM Let's not forget how pathetic Boston shot the 3-ball last game. 1-14 was downright terrible. They hit 4, 5, 5, 9, and 6 in the games leading up to last game. That gives them a 5.8 avg. for the first 5 games vs. the Heat. Even if they would have hit 4 more in game 6 (which would have still been below the series average for them), that's adding 12 points more to their total, leading to a 7 point loss. I'd expect Boston to hit at least 5 (season avg, and still below their series avg.) in this one after shooting a miserable 7% from downtown in game 6, while Miami nailed 7 of 16 for 44%. In game 7 I wouldn't look for a repeat of lopsided dominance of this important aspect of the game. Both teams avg. 3-pt shooting for the entire year are right near the 35% mark. |

#18 Posted: 6/9/2012 2:35:36 PM Miami & Over is most likely are the safer bets for the game tonight:
Miami -7.5 / Over 178.5.....When I look at this plays !- It is not attractive at all to many bettors; especially, Bostons fans! Uh!...
Here are my reasons why Miami and Over are the right sides here: 1. Home-field Advantage in NBA Playoff this season is Epic factor..and Big Shift Momentum to Heat tonight. 2. Miami was in the FINAL last year ! ECF---NBA and Stern expecting this team back in there to produce more revenues. 3. LB James just found his range and shooting lyric; Expecting him to be back in the spotlight again in NBA Final. 4. Why play OVER total?....Celtics will push this scores to the maximum; KG and Rondo will at least produce combine 54 points for themselves....If you take Miami and UNDER; I dont think its good combination parley. Remember close out game is usually scoring game; all players come to play their fools off..... Moreover, underdogs and Under are spell disaster lately for payoff this season.!!!!
Good luck all...It is going to entertainment game no matter which outcome will be..

There have been 3 game 7s this year. All have gone under For this reason and for reason I noted above, I'm putting my money on Miami and under. BOL |

#22 Posted: 6/9/2012 3:58:19 PM There are some excellent comments about this game. Echelon 1 is particularly strong on the 'C's give it everything so it'll be close' theory, which appears particularly convincing to me. C's are done after tonight, so this is their everything.
Still, I'm going with WinsNow999 and the 'LBJ is a force of nature/Home court' argument. Paul Pierce has embarrassed himself trying to guard LeBron. No one for Boston can. And Miami has an even bigger chip on their shoulder and more to play for than Boston. That was a different look from LBJ last game. He finally seems to seriously get off on ripping out hearts ala Jordan/Kobe (we know he's had practice Cavs fan). He's smelling blood and wants to bury Boston.
How do they do it? Miami is gonna run run run run and then do some more running. This is gonna be a blow out early and often. Take Miami +8. Rondo and KJ won't be enough. And there's no where else to go for the C's (sorry RA and PP).
And I'm lovin that avatar LSU1905! |
