#7 Posted: 12/5/2012 4:21:04 PM Reason: database, power ratings Comment: No need to break a sweat against another divisional opponent the week after beating the Saints in primetime. Most teams are not very concerned to improve playoff positioning.
CAROLINA + 3.5

Are you serious? Do teams tell you this? That's the dumbest statement I've read all day.
The last thing you want going into the playoffs, is to lose your momentum. Atlanta played a poor game the last time these teams played, and I think they will make the changes to get a better win. I'll eat the points.
Falcons -3.5 Over 47 |

The playoff positioning statement is not of my own opinion but by virtually all handicapping experts. Once teams make the playoffs, they're not going to break their rear ends exposing their players to injury. If they can win fine- but the facts are still the facts. Only amateurs talk this nonsense. Nobody goes all out when there's money to be made by not busting a gut! |

#11 Posted: 12/6/2012 2:20:30 AM How many undefeated teams in the past 5 years? 2, but they played hard to the end. The divisional lock makes no difference. ATL - whatever

#12 Posted: 12/6/2012 2:49:25 AM Falcons roll hard. Game over 1st half. Carolina has 2 CBs,Samuel and Grimms out. 1 Safety, Mitchell out. 2 safety out 3 out ....Matt Ryan gets the ball out quick, so carolina defense is no problem against Ryan's weapons out there. How about Falcons defense vs who's Carolina's QB?....PLAN B: if Carolina wins, "Let It Ride" system is activated. Auto bet Carolina to win all games vs Chargers,Raiders,Saints in the next 3 future games |

Nobody goes all out when there's money to be made by not busting a gut! First off, handicappers don't decide personnel changes, coaches do. And in case you haven't noticed, this is only week 14. Atlanta wouldn't start sitting guys til week 16 at the earliest. And even then a team risks losing momentum. For us it's about money, for them it's about rhythm. A prime example has been some of Manning seasons as a Colt. They were hot during the season, then rested guy at the end, only to be knocked out early in the playoffs. There's a fine line between rest and too much rest.
You should probably stop listening to some handicappers and actually start watching football. |

#15 Posted: 12/6/2012 11:45:23 AM Why is everyone so quick to forget about their pervious game this year. Atl slid past Cam and gang in the final 60 secs. Now this time Panthers have got em at home. I like panthers here straight up. They just match up well against Atl. |

Now you're giving database reasons? Trying to validate losing selections... There is absolutely no reason to believe there will be less points in this game than in their previous matchup. Falcons got 10 days off, will be fresh. Carolina knows how to score as well.
Tell me which defense is going to stop either team from getting into the endzone on Sunday (weather 70 degrees, perfect football weather)???
Over is the proper play on this game. |

#17 Posted: 12/6/2012 10:53:08 PM Yesterday Bun lose big time on Piston grame.
Had result go garage with broom and backpack, corner rat, scoop in backpack. Go 7-11, let rat loose start scream, "Rat Rat there Rat in here!!" Crowd go wild. All start scramble like Mike Vick. That Bun opportunity there! Grab TGI Friday Buffalo Wing, BBQ Cornnut, Srim Jim, Pizza Lorr, and two Glape Four Roko. Zip up full backpack and run FULL SPEED like Devin Hester out store. Ohhhh had good dinner that one!
Now on to grame! 70% on Farcon. Bet rule: arways go against 70% or mole. If look too easy...
FINAL OUTCOME OF GRAME
CALORINA PANTZER ATRANTA FARCON 31 30

#18 Posted: 12/7/2012 1:55:58 AM I think I figured Carolina out. They have been sandbagging all season in order to get better draft picks. Thats why all the close games and then oops they somehow screw the pooch and fail to win. This will be another close game with Carolina screwing the pooch towards the end. Part of their master plan for next season.

#19 Posted: 12/7/2012 2:34:58 AM Atlanta is 11-1.....5-1 on the Road
Carolina is 3-9.....1-5 at Home
Carolina plays Atlanta very well.
Atlanta is only -3.5???
Carolina wins this game outright...at the very worst loses by 3 Carolina has been playing better as of late. Newton has played his best ball the past few weeks Atlanta should be 9-3 this year with a few Houdini acts earlier this year.
Carolina +3.5 Love It!

#21 Posted: 12/7/2012 7:17:32 PM I can't make up my mind on this one. My inner wise guy likes Carolina, but there are also some reasons why I think the Falcons will give a decent effort here.
First, they are coming off a Thursday night game, which gives them extra time to heal and prepare. I know that doesn't sound like much, but at this stage in the season, those extra days are huge. Especially for a guys like Julio Jones with a nagging hamstring, and Asante Samuel with a bum shoulder.
Second, if you look at Atlanta's schedule, they will be playing the Giants, Lions, and Bucs after this! Those are some tough games! They will want to get this one in the bag, so they can clinch that home field advantage.
So no play for me....I think. |

Vue, 100% correct..........
It's called "Taking You Foot Off The Gas" so, you people think ATL is just going to keep whipping "About To Retire" H.O.F.'er T-Gonz or Burner Turner like a rented mule, knowing the playoffs are just around the corner? C'mon man, wake up, happens every year - - I feel the same way about the Texans and Arian Foster this week......... |
