#3 Posted: 11/25/2012 10:52:28 PM UNLV's lack of effort and/or Hawaii's execution were shocking...the Rebs came to the islands for the vacation...will S Alabama do the same?
if you consider what rainbows demonstrated (yes, I know they are the so called Warriors...this is for effect) against the Rebs, will they open a can of whoop behind on D1's newest addition??? |

#4 Posted: 11/28/2012 9:01:45 PM Or maybe UNLV was on the take this year like last years debacle game in Vegas, where Hawaii was a huge favorite and threw the game ! Suspicious ? Hmmmmmmm ? Point shaving in Vegas ? That game is still being investigated and QB Munoz knows he got away with murder. He's gone from Hawaii but do you trust this team? |

#5 Posted: 11/29/2012 1:40:48 PM The qb in question was from Leilehua High School and was a senior when Andrew Manley was a frosh. He was injured during the states and Andrew was called up from the junior varsity and led Mules to state championship. I do not think his name was Munoz. He was quick and a scrambler. The Colorado St. Game was another very suspicious. The UNLV game Hawaii was favored by 20 and they had shown some grit at WA the week before. The collapse was unexpected and the season went downhill from there especially after the qb got injured and was gone for the season. Losses to NV, SJST and BYU ended the coach's career. Manley went on to NMSU . |

#6 Posted: 12/1/2012 12:52:57 PM Hawaii will finish strong. Last game, no bowl. Long disappointing season. They go out with a win at home. It's a long flight to hawaii, those boys from bama haven't traveled like this before, or maybe in a plane before. This will be a pull away game for the warriors -7 |

#8 Posted: 12/1/2012 4:03:31 PM Hawaii covers this easy at home. Yet another Hawaii is excellent at home scenario for this game.

#9 Posted: 12/1/2012 5:19:58 PM I agree.. I'm sure Southern Alabama is a long ways away from Hawaii.. Teams coming here for the first time are usually good fade material.. That plus Hawaii's been doing better as of late.. |

#12 Posted: 12/1/2012 10:17:36 PM Football Calculator Takes South Alabama!
Had to break out my 20 year old "Roxborough Football Sports Calculator" for this one! Punched in all the numbers and came up with a score of Hawaii 22 and South Alabama 19. Was shocked at this score!
South Alabama 4-1 vs. point spread on the road this year (but with hugh "free points").
Hawaii 3-13 vs. point spread last 16 against FBS!
First time Hawaii has been a favorite all year! Might blow South Alabama out...but even Nebraska was only a 3-point favorite! And Nebraska on track to lose by 76 points vs. Wisconsin!
Light bet goes with "Football Calculator" on this game!
South Alabama plus 7 points vs. Hawaii |

Hi Micsongy1! Yes, it does exist. I bought it about 20 years ago for around $9.95. It did call a close game when Hawaii played Air Force and covered the 22 point spread...and some other games.
I use it for these "impossible" games to call. I saw it about six months ago on ebay.com for about $50 now!
You punch in wins/losses for each team, points for and points against, home team total wins and losses, and it comes up with a final score. They also have a baseball one that works real good!
I just use them for a bit of confirmation. Check www.ebay.com if you're looking for one, and punch in the name of the calculator above.
Hope this helps...and Good Luck with all of your picks! |

Just to let you know, this would be their 2nd. They won last week against UNLV. Blowout game. |
