The Governors Cup  is awarded to the winner - Georgia. But not so fast, because if The Jackets are on the road getting points from a non-conference opponent, the colonel will be there to collect his  .

Georgia - 24                                         Georgia Tech - 12

Yellow Jackets +13                         under 64.5

There will be two-legged peaches all over the place this Saturday afternoon in Athens. Revenge game for the Jackets.

Georgia Tech - Under

12 will be a hard number for the Jackets to get, CJ.  Tech's FG kicker is abysmal and won't see the field unless he's kicking PAT's.

Tech will move the ball in this game.  They need long, time consuming drives with the occasional deep pass.  The passing game is critical for Tech here.  UGA has no respect for it.  Gotta be able to get a few big completions.

IM NOT GONNA OVERTHINK THIS ONE AT ALL.GEORGIA-9.5-157@HERITAGE FOR ME..THE ARE AT HOME  AND ARE SIMPLY THE BETTER TEAM AND SAFEST BET IN THIS GAME...NOT TO MENTION  GTECH IS 3-7-1 ATS IN THESE 2 TEAMS LAST 11 TIMES FACING EACH OTHER.

leaning toward GT+13.  revenge and they would like nothing more than to derail GAs NC hopes.  look ahead game for Ga ? . if  GT running game gets going long, time consuming drives keep ga's high potent offense sidelined.  GS ran for over 300.   this game is usually close.

Tech will get some points, and run some clock with their offense but Georgia's offense will score at will against a weak Tech defense.  Georgia can move the ball by throwing or running, explosive either way.  UGA played the same triple option offense last week and faced a better defense while winning 45-14.  Score should be similar this Saturday,

Tech is better at throwing the ball so give them on extra TD...maybe.  Georiga will want to get their starters out by the end of the third to avoid injuries before facing Bama next week so I don't see them running the score up.  Murray (highest QB rating in the nation) is very efficient throwing the ball when given time and GT doesn't have much of a pass rush.

UGA       41            GT     17

Im a georgia fan (notice the name)  but triple option teams are tough to defend   never mind rivalry week. These 2 always come to ball out for this game. I think ug is the betterteam and once uga gets up the running game of gt cant help them.  I will say UGA 35 GT 24

Georgia Tech cannot come from behind. Add to that, their defense isn't very good away from home. Georgia will race to the lead and force Tech out of their game plan.

BIG WIN - Georgia - 13

Geo tech usually hangs around in this game. Mark Richt is like spurrier at Scar. He cant close the big games when hes supposed to. If they dont lose here they will in the Sec championship. This team is a phony. Gtech for the large!!! No pressure for them and they get to go to ACC title game cuz mia tapped out

I feel the same way about this game as I did when I took Texas A&M over Bama...I would not be shocked if G Tech won this SU.

Georgia Tech final +14.5

Aloha and good luck to all

i think this game comes down to talent differential and motivation...the talent delta is not questioned...and UGA has disapointed me all year ATS..they play when they feel like playing...I think with Bama on deck on the SEC C Game, UGA will want to be playing at a high level...some say UGA could be the top to bottom best team in the country and some say they could beat Bama in the SEC title game...I am not so sure about that, but I do think they will TCB Saturday against GA Tech...

I'm sure you wouldn't be shocked...bcuz Georgia is -3.5 on the teaser tickets. Vegas wants to butt-darn all those with a hard-on for GEORGIA? Is that what you're getting at? Tease at our own risk? I would laugh in someone put 100k on GT ML and some other dude was due to win back $250k on the teaser with GEO

Really like GA here.. Shut down the GT run game and get a lead, GT has no chance.. Obviously that's easier said then done, but GA will be one of the best D's GT has faced all year.. GA for $200

Although the spread is a tad high, I've got to back Georgia here. The only thing that Georgia Tech can do well is run the football and they will not be able to keep up the pace against a very decent Bulldog defense. Georgia should have little trouble moving the ball. PICK: Georgia -14
