#3 Posted: 11/20/2012 12:57:21 AM I like Stanford in this game. Stanford needs this win to clinch the PAC 12 north. UCLA has clinched the PAC 12 south, so this game really means nothing for UCLA, since they clinched, already. IF, Stanford does win this game, Stanford plays UCLA next week to see who goes to the Rose Bowl.
Final Score: Stanford 28 UCLA 17

Seriously nHenley. UCLA will have their 2nd & 3rd stringers in by the half. If UCLA beats Stanford, do you think they want to face Oregon ????? Hell no ! Rollover and play dead for Stanford, then beat the crap out of them in the Pac-champ game. Unless you think UCLA would be dumb enough to think they can beat Oregon?!? |

I think this is a bad spot for UCLA after winning against there arch rival USC as stated above all the motivation is on the Stanford side. |

#9 Posted: 11/24/2012 6:37:54 AM Both Stanford's losses came with that scrub Josh Nunes at QB, Stanford is playing a lot better now that he's holding the clipboard. Stanford's offensive line is way stronger than USC's, so UCLA won't get pressure like they got on Barkley. If UCLA falls behind, they'll sit on the ball and put the subs in to keep the starters fresh for the rematch the following week. They match up better with Stanford than they do with Oregon.

#10 Posted: 11/24/2012 10:21:35 AM dammmmmmmm, this will be a tight game. both squads coming off huge upsets but,who can continue the momentum?
its a classic defense vs offense matchup. tough to pick here. Cardinal's D is huuuuuuuge.

#11 Posted: 11/24/2012 10:53:24 AM Agree that the Cardinal stat's are skewed by the "scrum" being in there a couple games. Combine that with the incentive factor in Stan's favor, and I'm goin' Cardinal. |

#12 Posted: 11/24/2012 11:06:24 AM Stanford - 31 UCLA - 27
Cardinal -3 over 51.5
Always scary betting a team coming off a huge upset win. The only difference with that win last week is it wasn't an upset in Stanfords eyes. They expected that outcome. Bruins hang tough but come up short in the end. SF over LA in this Golden State battle.

#16 Posted: 11/24/2012 4:43:14 PM I find it hilarious that people think they know that UCLA would rather play Stanford instead of Oregon. It's funny because people took the time to realize the scenarios but they failed to realize what happens if UCLA loses.
With a loss UCLA would have to go on the road to play Oregon instead of playing at home against Stanford. How can so many people break this game down and not point out where the championship would be played? |

No motivation? What about hosting the PAC 12 Championship? Is that not motivation? |

With a loss UCLA would have to go on the road to play Oregon instead of playing at home against Stanford. How can so many people break this game down and not point out where the championship would be played? "The Cardinal are trying to lock down
the Pac-12 North Division and a rematch with the Bruins in six days. If
Stanford wins on Saturday, it would host UCLA in the Pac-12 championship
game. If the Bruins win and Oregon beats Oregon State, then UCLA would
travel to Eugene, Ore., for the title game. If the Bruins win and Oregon
State wins, UCLA would host the Cardinal in the title game."
The DUX aren't losing to ORG-ST (47-17 with 9 minutes left 4th Q) and that game will be done or close to it before kickoff of STAN/UCAL so NO even if UCLA wins they will not be hosting the championship game so it's not as hilarious as you may think

#20 Posted: 11/24/2012 6:24:02 PM Stanford -3 over UCLA!
Stanford part of our running 8-Team "Straight Up"
bets starting with Syracuse. We now have big
profits from Cincinnati, Syracuse, SMU and our
plowing half of all profits into Ohio State.
Our Penn State still pending, and if list lost from
Syracuse post yesterday...final games include
Rice +1 and San Jose State -5 in our quest to
"run the table" with all eight wins!
Will now launch attack on arch enemy UCLA!
But Stanford vs. UCLA will be no cakewalk!
Stanford minus 3 points over UCLA!

#24 Posted: 11/24/2012 10:02:42 PM Oh I get it!!UCLA tanked his game, because if Stanford wins they play them again in the Pac 12 championship game,so who would you rather face,Oregon or Stanford. What a bunch of girl!!! Believe me fella's,UCLA tanked this game, other words, they did'nt try to lose it,but they did'nt care one way or another, using it as a film session for when they play again next Friday. All the better for me,because Stanford is gonna spank that behind again!!! |
