NW doesn't have the rep of a team that covers big point spreads. Somewhere someone once said when in doubt take the points, well that someone never got a look at this miserable Illini team. Lay it or forget it!

NW wins 41-16

SWEET - I think they cover the rather large chalk as well!

illinois is absolutely awful....they put up 6 points at home last week vs purdue? northwestern has hung in every game theyve played.  Its senior day and northwestern will roll

For what it's worth, NW favored by dd twice this year. Won both ATS. That said, still leaning Illini.  Almost 3 TDs too much for me to lay, too, home game or not. Might be an error, but Covers shows Illinois scored 17 against miserable Purdue.
Just a lean right now, but if I play, it's Illinois.

Northwestern is coming off two very physical games and that is a bunch of points for them to cover.  I'm leaning with the Ilini.
