#3 Posted: 9/10/2012 6:51:28 AM Nevada ran all over Sfla. Pistol offense gives some teams fits. Rutgers a strong rushing team. If sfla can stuff run and get a two score lead. they make rutgers pass. Rutgers has some questions on the off line. There top return man is hurt. Sfla among the top nation in sacks. BJ Daniels is a 5th year senior qb who is mobile but has int problems in the past. Sfla has played tougher competition and had a strong road comeback against a possible bowl team last week. This line is too high. It should be 6.5. Baiting you for rutgers. SFLA and OV for the large |

#11 Posted: 9/11/2012 9:48:41 AM With Rutgers forecast to be one of the teams gunning for the Big East crown and the fact that two stupid mistakes cost Nevada the game after controlling USF, I'll go with Rutgers getting those points

#19 Posted: 9/12/2012 11:59:15 AM USF is definitely the more talented team but talent doesn't necessarily win you games. USF exerted alot of emotion in the come from behind win at Nevada then having to travel a significant distance back to South Florida. That takes it's toll playing on a short week. Rutgers has a better, more experienced defense. They are solid against the run and have talented db's. They also play well at USF, especially as a +7 dog. My first instinct would be to jump on USF < -10. Short week, emotional grind from win in Nevada, Rutgers being solid on defense and special teams...USF will come out flat. Rutgers and the points +8. Defense and ST's usually prevail under these circumstances. |

#20 Posted: 9/12/2012 2:45:37 PM This is not the same Rutgers team that handed S Fla. defeats 5 of the last 6 meetings. The main reason is when coach Schiano left he took a number of his coaches with him. This team will take time to gel under a new scheme, approach with caution.

#22 Posted: 9/12/2012 10:02:07 PM You said it JinnRikki..."approach with caution"...rutgers gets their behind handed to them tom night...who cares about the long ride home...so what, they flew on a plane from nevada to s. florida...4 hour flight...i dont see how they are at a disadvantage there...so what they struggled vs nevada...it was on the road across country...nevada is not that bad...the qb that replaced c. kopernick is pretty damn good...anytime you win on the road in college fball i think its a positive...its def not a negative! Look I realize bj has struggled with turning the ball over but the fact that hes been there already for yrs tells me hes a veteran qb and a dangerous one at that! plus s. florida's def is pretty damn good too...i know, i know, these rutgers backers are going to say the same thing...but the vast majority on this blog here like rutgers...well, usually when the majority like rutgers and the line has moved like it has 1.5 to 2 pts, i think i will go opposite of the public...i may buy the half to move it to -7 but regardless im backing the bulls in this one...this should not even be close...its time for the bulls to shine and cover...all trends got to get broken and rutgers 3 in a row winners ats vs s fla is going down thurs. night at raymond james stadium...it will be fiery down there fo sho!!! |

#24 Posted: 9/12/2012 11:45:16 PM I'll take Rutgers again at +7,Because recruiting wise both programs have great scouts and this match-up will be a grind until the infrastructure of both programs go thru big changes.Depth of talent is pretty balanced and according to Phil Steele these two teams should be right there with Louisville,so the Big East has three schools going for the Crown |
