Coloneljim, I live in San Jose & I go to all of the SJS football games & let me tell you, the Spartans ARE NOT GOOD!! They have the WORST head coach in college football, Mike HACKintyre!!! HACKintyre has LOST the last 2 games (UCLA & Nevada) which they SHOULD have won. His play calling is atrocious!! Last year HE LOST 4 games that the Spartans SHOULD have won, easily!!! A LOT of the Spartan fans want HACKintyre OUT as coach of the Spartans!!! Even though, New Mexico St, starting QB is out for the year, they still have the same starting QB as last year ( A back up this year) that BEAT the Spartans. SJS had that game won, scoring a LATE TD, to go ahead, but HACKintyre LOST that game & let New Mexico State drive 75 yards in 30 seconds to beat the Spartans!!! I'm going to take New Mexico St + 10 1/2 in this game. NM St beat a BIG 10 team 2 weeks ago on the road. IF they can beat a BIG 10 team (Minn) on the road in front of 45, 000 to 50,000 people, they sure can beat the HAPLESS Spartans on the road in front of 8,000 to 10,000 people at best. This is sad..NMST was horrible last year and doing so much better this year.... then their QB got injured and will be out for the rest of the season. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT sjsu can give them 10points!!!! give me NMST +10.5!!!!
