Wow..Am I seeing this line right?  Iowa is only -1? 

As you can tell I'm not an Iowa fan but I have to say they have looked good their first two games.  This probably be a close game but Iowa's RBs Alexander and Hampton will wear down the Arizona D.  Iowa wins by a TD.

Will the desert heat by a factor? Hmmm?

Its a possibility but if never have been to Iowa in August its consistently in the 90s with humity over at 70%.  I know its not same as Arizona heat but Iowa has practiced in high temps.

BTW...Nice win by the hawkeyes.  They kicked our a$$.  I hate to say it but the Hawkeyes are looking good.

Granted Iowa hasn't been tested this year but this line is suspiciously low.  Riding the Hawkeyes heavy in this one.

Is that how you cap, jesus thats horrible. Hey guys, the grass is green, so lets lay the wood. I noticed you took the same approach in the FSU and BYU game. Remind me not to tail you. But enough about you, I just wanted to say that I took the points with Arizona last year in this game and it was a pretty big system play for me. They didnt cover, however, it was a very entertaining game that went back and forth. Plus, it was the first leg of the home and home series agreed upon these two teams. I use this example cuz i came back in the home and home series and bet the team that didnt cover the previous year and won ATS around 65% of the time. Example, the ASU/georgia series 08/09, Houston/Colorado st. 07/08. Arizona SU is my play. GL to everyone. 

Also, for cappers that like stats, the game from last year iowa contolled a majority of the game. Looking at the box scores Iowa rushed 42 times with an average of 3.2 yards per carry and a time of possession of 38 minutes. Arizona rushed 25 times with 5.9 yards per carry with time of possession of 22. If we can agree that the home team controls the tempo of the game a large majority of the time. Arizona with a majority of returning offensive starters, will play uptempo and at worst will get involved with a shootout. Much like the oregon game, or washington game.

i like how a guy with only 200 posts calls out a guy with over a 1000.. sharp has been around for a while, and i'd much rather have him on my side of a bet then not.. BoL sharp

did I ever say I follow sharp?? there have been many times when we've been on opposite sides.. it's the fact that you assume that someone only uses weather as a factor and call him out on it that's irritating.. I make my own plays based on how I think the game will turn out, never on someone else's opinion..

So let me get this right, you don't think weather which can affect depth issues are significant, but you do think your "system" involving teams not not even involved in the game, and not even in the current year is something we should all pay attention to? 

I don't care what system you use, or which team you prefer, bet anyway you like.  But calling someone out for bringing up a relevant factor is bush league.  Thanks for your stats on last year's matchup, that does have some relevance to my analysis, the history of home-and-home series of unrelated teams......not so much.  But that is just me.  Post whatever you want, but leave the unwarranted criticism alone.
