I am looking for the horns to be -8 to -10 here...I think the Huskers have a chance, but it will take by far their best offensive game of the year to do it, and I honestly don't think the O is up for it, especially against the Horn D.  The Husker D will slow down Texas, but I doubt it is enough.  Barring a couple turnovers and or a special team TD for the Huskers, Texas should do what they need to do here and head to the NC game.

I was thinking -10 to -12.  I keep telling myself this is college football and anything can happen so hoping for those breaks and putting TCU into the title game.  Wouldn't that chap Horn hide?

the husker o is already bad.  after texas close call with the aggies, there will be changes, and everyone will see a focussed texas defense on dec 5.   the only way nebraska wins this game is if it holds texas to 7 or less like it did against ou.   nebraska will be lucky to cross mid field...

just seems to me that nebraska has a tough time scoring even though there defense is really good.. we will find out how good this defense is though against texas.  texas wins they are on a mission 38-14.  texas defense rebounds from a bad performance last week.

well, 14 it is...I will be watching the game and laying off...honestly, it would be a monumental effort by the Huskers to keep it within 2 td's, and I just don't see Colt and the offense having a bad day.  They only good defense they have played this year was OU, and that was a tight game, but the Texas offense is much better right now then they were in that game.

I like Texas big in this game. The reason why is Nebraska is not going to be able to contain McCoy in this game. Nebraska QB is not going to be able to handle the blitz packages of Texas. Good luck to all.

I like TX big as well. I think the A&M game was a wake up call. If TX had routed them I would have put more value on a potential upset here. I think TX is refocused and wins big. The D is too good and Mccoy needs another big game to stay up in the Heisman vote as Tebow and Gerhart both put on shows last week to match him.

Horns should roll here, but the way the Aggies were able to move the ball on TX defense makes me wonder.  Maybe the Corn Huskers D will find a way to keep it close??  If McCoy is on his game they should cover 2 TD's fairly easy.

I think there are two reasons the line is set as close as it.  The last two times these two teams played, the game was decided by 3 points, and 2 points, respectively.  Also, I think there are lingering memories of the Texas/OU game this year, where Texas pulled out a low scoring close one against the best defense they faced all year.

I do think, however, that Texas' O has only gotten better since then, while Nebraska's offense has shown little improvement throughout the season.

Nebraska's D should hold Texas to some of the lowest scoring they've seen all season (with the exception of the Texas/OU game), but I have a hard time seeing the Huskers scoring too much more than 13 in this one.

I foresee a score that looks something like 31-13 Texas, which puts a point total around 44.  It looks like the early over/under is coming out at 43.5.

I like Texas -14 and Over 44, as I can't foresee either team scoring less than score I listed above.

I like Texas here just based on their defense.  A&M game was what seemed like an off night for the defense, and the Aggies played very well on offense which has been pretty good all season,( #6 in yrds and #15 in scoring). Nebreska is mediocre at best on offense, they've broke 30pts once all season (not including ULLAF).  The linebackers will be more involved in this game, which heavily favors Texas in the redzone.  I think its going to be very tough for the Huskers to punch it in.  Nebreska will score 13pts at best. 

Texas has a high powered, high scoring offense facing a pretty stout Nebreska defense.  I like this matchup and think Nebreska can slow them down, but their offense will leave them on the field for to long and Texas will take advantage of the extra possessions.  (27-31pts) for Texas

Texas just finds ways to school in all areas of the game.  Specials teams and Defense have touchdowns in just about every game (i think 10 total).  Special teams favors Texas.

Nebreska is playing pretty good football right now ! Let me ask you all this question if Nebreska was playing Texas A+M this week who would your $ be on . Let's take it futher I will give you +9 Neb now who do you like in that game if you like A+M or even consider them !!! I will give Nebreska their props they are a very good team but TEXAS is on another level period !!! In the second qt neb will get a busted lip !!! In the 3rd qt they will get a black eye. by the start of the 4 qt TKO. Colt McCoy is the REAL DEAL YALL he will be holding the golden brown black green orange trophy. This game will seal it. Wow my daughter just woke up and puked all over the floor must be symbolic for all the TEBOW lovers who know after this game. Oh I wish there was a ML on this game, cuz if there was id be taking Nebraska huge for the upset.  If Texas had been upset last week by A&M, i would have been looking for them to unload against Nebraska to get some frustration out.  But that didnt happen.  Texas is going to be facing the best defense they have seen all year, and I dont know if Colt McCoy's 12 year-old lookin ass will know what to do.  Colt has never done anything spectacular against the Cornhuskers the last two times they played...he only got those wins by a bullshit fumble by Terrance Nunn to allow the horns to kick a go ahead field goal, and an amazing 3 TDs in the 4th quarter by Jamal Carles.  Since then the Nebraska D has greatly improved, and although their offense has struggled recently i see them stepping it up a notch on this big of a stage.  Ill just have to take Nebraska plus the points on this one, and maybe a small play on the under.

This history of this game (Big XII champ.) shows the team with the most to lose often lays an egg.  NU is playing with house money.  Everyone has resigned them to the Holiday bowl.  They will open the playbook a lot more than they did against OU, when they were fighting to win the North.  We have played Texas real tough the last two games, barely losing both.  Maybe I am going all homer here and trying to talk myself into this, but even from a non-biased view, these points are valid.

I think I am going to play the under here...huskers defense will hold the horns down well below their scoring average, and the husker offense has its own issues.  I do expect a knock down, heavyweight type fight here and while the huskers do not have the talent to match up with UT across the board (although they do have more first team all Big 12 defenders then UT this year), I give them a punchers chance to keep it close enough and low scoring enough that I like the under.  Odd things have happened in the Big 12 champ game, and who knows, maybe it will this year??  We will see Sat night
