Can they do it again?  Defense at home?

A lot of things about this game do not add up.  For example;

1.  This game is being bet heavily considering that this would normally be a low visibility game without much betting action.
2.   The money is heavy on Niagara - both straight bets and exotics.
My response is " why"??
3.  Line movement is moving the line down on Niagara and has been a slow and steady move all day and yesterday.

Niagara looks like a good play here - At least it looks like a smart money play and it may be that some people " know something" so they are pounding the parlays as well as the straight bets.

58% had bet Niagara and the line moved from 2 to 1'.  Nothing strange about that.  Niagara has the better offense but then again, so did Iona the other day and what happened?  The better defense won the game.  I'm fine with being on Manhattan.

Clearly, we are looking at different screens

Well my screen shows all the actual bets made on online bookmakers and it consolidates it to a %.  Niagara was bet 58%.  The line moved from an opening of -2 Manhattan to -1'.  If I were to guess what you were looking at, covers shows 60% on Manhattan.  Those are people who are playing handicapper contests.  No real money is being placed.  I only care about actual money.  The fact that I lost has nothing to do with any of this.  Most of the time in a situation like that, if all a person cared about was which side the public bet, going against the public works.  I go on power rankings, home vs road stats, offensive/defensive and L3 or L5 games played.

You can go broke fading the public across the board.  Pub will average around 50% which is a losing prop as you know.  I agree you on covers consensus for the same reasons.  Don't use it either,  I use Sports Insights.  I was typing hurredly and make have not entered the correct consensus on Niagara but no matter now.
