URI had their bubble burst but made a nice run in the NIT and nearly won the damn thang! I just don't see them getting beaten by 13. I took them +12. Pitt has a lot to prove to me.

Rhode Island will take the floor against Pitt with just eight scholarship players on the roster following a mass exodus that saw five players leave the team this summer.

The Rams also have some key reserves on the sidelines until December, leaving head coach Jim Baron to juggle his lineups heading into the opener. Despite the thin roster, Baron expects his team to still push the tempo and press on defense."


A Short bench against a physical PITT team sounds like a recipe for disaster to me!!

careful guys

uri lost most of their backcourt.   this isn't the same team as last year.

This style gives Pitt problems, its the first game, I don't see fatigue or a short bench as a problem. 8 man rotation is fine by me, however after reading your responses I will now bet the over.
