SOONERS -?, to TALL and play D.  Beat a very similar team by `19, Baylor who relies on the 3 like Ok State. Beaten many other very good teams as well.  I think Blake Griffin is fine, but not 100%

agree o u is too strong if they play well
they have been known to sh*t a goose egg now and again but this is a big time rivalry game goes back for years

Looks to me like up-tempo OSU could be a very dangerous team tonight... especially at home on national TV and in this huge rivalry game, to boot.
 
Balanced Cowboys (with 4 players that rank in the Big 12's top twenty scorers) lead the league in scoring (and are fourth nationally) pouring in over 85 ppg. 
 
Since opening line quickly jumped 2 full points in Cowboy backers' favor... think I'll keep an eye on the number and look to reel in some more value before pulling the trigger on OSU.

Surprised at the line opening at 1 1/2, thought it should be closer to 5. I will wait until it hits 5 and take OSU and the points.

  • The line is UP to 2.5 from its opening 1.5 spot. (not down)  I know it went to 3.5, but I think its still to early to bet acording to the line adjustment.  If the line had not moved acording to the public betting and stayed at 1.5 (in my opinion) you would then, in this case, pound OSU.  I think you have to watch this one for a game time for a decesion. Thats if your making line movement bets.  Just my opinion.  GL

All you guys bring up excellent pts (as always). The thing that makes me nervous is....its a rivalry game. The crowd @ Henry Iba Arena ( or whatever its called) will be rockin' ....
 
But , when you get down to it...its a good team vs. just an ok team.

I love my boy Travis Ford. We go way back in the day to his early coaching days at Campbellsville University, but I'm gonna have to go against him tonight and take OU. Blake G. is a bad man !!!

Okla -1.5. Got the line I wanted. Just need OK to win and win decently for everyone who is still backing the game up to -3. We all could use a cover win tonight. I also have NBA Phoenix. I like the 2-hour time diff. Allows for my easier money management attempt.

Looks like line has settled at 3 for now (at Bodog)... looks like a difficult game to handicap... like the scoring ability of the Cowboys, but gotta respect Sooners here, no doubt.
