Still licking my wounds from Last Saturday.

Preakness appears a little chalky this year, I think Creative Cause may bounce back with a big race, the only outsider I think may have a chance is Cozetti, and not much of one at that.  Maybe Bodemeister bounces off his Big Derby and opens the door for someone else, otherwise, I just may pass on betting too much on the Preakness this year.....

I agree bounce city here with this one.....basically no shot in hell as far as I'm concerned. The situation I'm going to be focusing on is this....first .....I'm singling the (4) Straight Story in the race before the Preakness (Dixie Stakes G2) for multiple race wagers pick 3 /4/ 6 etc. computer numbers are a stand out for this horse moving with energy through the turn and accelerating in the final panel, trainer goldberg hooks up with Ramon D. here as his pilot and I'm all in ...I'm in belief here that this is where the money will be for the pick three 4 and six. so for me now that the entries are drawn for the Preakness I'm going to be chucking Bode and only using 2,4, 8,9,10 & 11 for multiple race wagers.....these are the best comp fig wise and shortens up the price of the ticket for multiple race wagers

let's take one step at a time and gauge how the computer figs are gearing up to the Preakness.... for Tomorrow....Race 3 Belmont 1 mile and 1/16th (the Vanlandingham Stakes) 90K My figs tell me the (5) Trickmeister is such a huge dominant figure horse here I'm willing to take a shot and use as a single for the early pick four I'm going to use heavy in wheels and as a key in the multiples so let's see if this one goes well and is as dominant as I believe ....this weekend should be a nice money maker....ATTACK !!

zuck Very Chalky I agree.But I do like Daddy knows best and at 12-1 and wtdw 6-1 that could come in handy with tri and Exacta wagers

I do disagree that Dullahan would have won the derby if it was longer. If you watch the overhead Went the day well was about to blow by Dullahan with ease.

Lawyer Ron was not a California horse... At least I remember him racing at Oaklawn. He was the rankest horse EVER so he was an easy toss in the derby that year.

Lookin at Lucky drew the 1 hole so I don't care if he was from a super planet he was not winning the derby. He proved his level in the Preakness. Before we could dismiss the California horses mainly due to the synthetic track but that is no longer the case.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see a California trifecta tomorrow. IHA over Bode over Creative Cause.

Creative Cause ran a very impressive derby. He made a monster move on the turn but flattened out going wide. Not sure I have any faith in his dumb ass trainer shipping him all over and changing his equipment on a weekly basis but if handled correctly I think he would have had a good shot to win the Preakness.

Bodemeister is going to be able to do whatever he wants on the lead. The connections of IHA say they could take the lead but that is total bull shit. In the SA derby he was 2 lengths off a 47, 111 and that was at SANTA ANITA! That is like running 48, 112 on any normal track.They are not going to change his style in the race. He will sit off 2-3 lengths and then pounce. Most likely Bode is running on half tank right now which will most likely be good enough for 1st or 2nd

monster pick three thanks to race 5 (2) Beppj...wow for a buck it came back 419.50 thanks to the all button there missed the pick 4 decent return for the race though too...hope someone else had it as well.....for later today...RACE 6 PImlico....(5) Afleet Lass  8/1   got some decent figs worth playing at a price here.....will be attacking. got some scratches there so the SOB is gonna get hammered at the windows with pletcher

I have to look past the chalk in this race.

1. Bode-three races on the engine in a very short time and and 7-5at post time. Pass.

2. I'll Have Another-Was brought along cautiously and now third race in short time. Trip horse in KD. Can he get that set up again? Pass. 2-1 post time.

3. Creative Cause-really... did we go back and forth to California in-between? Toss.

Like your thinking. Looking forward to see who you like for the new horses.

In CCs case,  difficult for me to get on board given giant's causeway as a sire is now 13-0-0-0-0 in tc races; his trainer decided to ship him to kentucky (ran a pretty nice race); ship him back to california (who knows); then to baltimore.  maybe he forgot his blinkers.
