Pitino Junior to Minnesota

This is my club - would love to know any opinions on this hire,  seems a bit green for the Big Ten, but obviously Dad is why.  Any Fla Int. Panthers out there?  I know hit a nice payday when he covered against his dad this year

Thats a big move, yes he did overachieve last year at FIU but I think Minny should have got a little more prestigious coach if they could have, with that said Pitino Jr. probably showed Minny he can get his players to overachieve and with the talent Minny had this just may be a good fit. Big difference than Big Ten and Sun Belt though.

well flag i don&#x27;t this hire is a home run. I think its a grand slam hire. They weren&#x27;t getting Shaka. Richard Pitino lost 5 starters from that previous team and they were a few minutes away from going to the NCAA tournament!&#xD;&#xA;However flag your school has got to start putting money in facilities. You&#x27;ve got to have facilities in todays college sports. Nebraska is getting a new arena and their practice facility is a year old and supposedly is 1 of the best in the country. rutgers when they join in 2014 is putting a 150 million dollars in upgrades.&#xD;&#xA;Its about keeping up with the Jones&#x27;s with the facilities . But i think its a great hire flag

The name "Pitino" has huge recruiting clout.  Then again, so should have Tubby&#x27;s.
