So title pretty much says it all. Took wich st pre tourney for 25 to win 10k . As we r now in the elite 8, do I start hedging here? Or wait until finalv4 atleast. Buckeyes are gona be really tough to beat, but having to pay -200 ml doesnt sound fun. Maybe wait till half time and hope wich takes the early lead and I can basically get oh st @1-1 to win? Help plz

you wont have a safe hedge unless they make it to the final game since they will be dogs vs louisville or duke besides you only have $25 invested so just enjoy the ride .......gl

I got syracuse 20-1, and Im already thinkin about hedging. at 400-1 with witchita, you would be a fool not to hedge. I would use 1K from here on out to hedge if i were u. Think about it, 1K subtracted from the potential 10K = 9K. Thats still a pretty dam good come up for a 25$ bet. You would be protecting yourself. It smart, but do what you please. BOL! I hope its witchita vs syracuse in the finals, easy victory for me :-)

Thinking 1k the other way on final 4 opposition. (Hoping duke for the sake of the ML being lower than Lou), then if they make it to the finals to bet like 4k other way again ML. Will be a real nice roi either wa. Its been fun.

My book hasnt postened the wich st line yet and idk how your book coukd possibly paying 2-1 on louisville to win it all if they r gonna be -600 this game and at very very worst -150 vs mich/syr

Anyone have an idea what louisville ML when opening @-10 for game may be? Might not . Worth it and will have to just let it ride
louisville is 2-1 to win the tourney? you can take that for $2500 to win $5000, then do another $2500 on moneyline syracuse or michigan because either team will also be underdogs against louisville.
wichita st wins = 5000 profit
louisville wins = 2500 profit
syracuse or michigan moneyline would probably be at least +130 moneyline = 750 profit
you don't have a goldmine yet because wichita st is +10 underdogs against louisville. that is a huge and steep hill to try and overcome but if you have $5000 to insure for $750, that's your call.
the key is the +200 moneyline on louisville to win the tourney, even if you got louisville anywhere near even money during the game vs wichita st, it would be the same deal.
if $5000 isn't worth it to insure $750, next best thing is to hope that wichita st beats louisville. but what would the moneyline be in the national championship game wichita st vs syracuse? or wichita st vs michigan? i would say around -400, then you can put $5000 and then win a $2000 profit if wichita st loses.
Best time to hedge would be if wichita st beats louisville, and then hope that wichita st is up at halftime and then max bet ($5000 hopefully) the other team as close to even money as possible. You might even be able to collect both sides if wichita st is crushing their opponent at halftime enough to leave a handful of + points to the other team too, know what i mean?
