Great Tourney so far, with winning margins every day.
Top Plays:
******Ohio St -7 Blow out city baby in Dayton; their biggest test will be Arizona, a game I believe they would lose, all things being equal, but Sunday is their moment to shine for now.
**********Miami -7 Illinois will have trouble scoring against this defense, and will be vulnerable to an effective half court offense.
Lower Echelon Plays:
Florida Gulf Coast +7 I think SDSU wins, but may have a difficult time with the athletes FGC puts out there. Obviously Jamaal Franklin reminds of Chris Paul, and the guards SDSU throws at you are NBA level, and they are well coached, kind of like Butler's guards (ew, tuff loss for Butler, a game they were controlling). So SDSU wins tight games, and FGC wasn't even tested by Grgtn (surprising), but they will here, and may fold under the pressure, and with a deficit. Nuff said...
Minny +7.5 Hard not to back Florida, but Minny doesn't have too many ugly losses, and they made it here because they can beat some Big Ten heavyweights, so this is a sleeper team--WATCH OUT ! Tubby's a veteran who deserves more credit.
LaSalle +4.5 Lot to like, and they have momentum.
No Car +6 If Kansas gets behind, could get ugly, and our 2nd No 1 goes down. Whity is a blocking machine and might stop the penetrations, but if the threes fall, it could be ablowout W for Carolina.
DUKE -5 If this is a track meet, DUKE will thrive, and they have the lightsout shooters. We'll be an interesting game. DUKE could win this one handily.
Temple +11.5 On paper could be a one and done Atl 10 school like VCU; but Indiana has struglled with butler, so Temple could be there late.
