What a nice surprise last night, a perfect ( 4 - 0 ). Those of you who have bet on sports for years understand how difficult, and how lucky you have to be to pull off a feat like that. With all the crazy emoticons Covers has you'd think they would have a broom....maybe they do and I'm just too dumb to find it.
Anyway, on to today:
Utah St. + 3 (Full game) - Denver has clearly enjoyed the jump to the powerhouse conference that is the WAC....I mean what an upgrade from the Sunbelt. Now they're playing conference foes like San Antonio and Arlington...huh? But geographically and economically I guess it made sense......I'll admit I was sick of seeing universities you couldn't even find on a map from places like Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana, and Florida having to go to Colorado for a "conference game."
As everyone knows Denver is well known for beating up opponents at home, due in part to the high altitude. But historically, when they'd leave Denver and go on the road, they became much less effective. However, this year, not so much. They are taking care of business on the road too. But their road wins are against the San Antonio's, the Arlington's, and the Texas St.'s of the world. They have lost both road games @ Mew Mexico St. and La. Tech (the 2 best teams in the conference). Tonight they go on the road to play the 3rd best team and are installed as a 3 point favorite.....unwarranted IMO.
May add more later......

Pinny, you are aware of the significant injuries for the Aggies right? They've been playing without key cogs or are you aware and finally think they're gelling?
