-Wichita off 2 losses and need a win to keep pace with 1st place Creighton
-S Illinois 2nd leading scorer Early (12.0 ppg) lit up the Shockers' with 39 pts. in 1st meeting and will get full attention from Wichita's #28 rated defense. Early missed a game recently and since in 2 games has gone 4-11 from the floor with just 10 pts. in 2 games.
-S Illinois has really struggled offensively in their last 5 games with OE's of .893, .773, .821, .872 & .724 against D's with DE's of #79, #49, #81, #193 & #79. They will now face the top D in the MVC( #28 nationally).
