Phew. Looked great for 16 minutes and then nearly fell apart.
I don't feel like messing with the spread, but this play holds a lot of value in my eyes. If Louisville can maintain contact until the 7 or 8 minute mark, we may see Kentucky really tighten up. These guys just have not been in many close games. The 'Ville has been in about 20 this season alone...
Louisville ML +550 (0.5 units)

Props hit, money line shot misses.
Lean to Kansas but will hope for a sluggish start and live bet opportunity.

#18 Posted: 3/31/2012 11:29:25 PM OSU played "slow" the whole game. You knew KU was going to make a run and OSU would be forced to push the tempo. Great grab on the +290 and Good luck going forward. |

As is my custom in championship games, I'll be on the under in the KU-UK matchup. Lean Kansas as well but a better line will inevitably be available live at some point.

#21 Posted: 4/1/2012 1:08:09 PM Cant believe the way Ohio St played, that Guard just dribbling the ball to waste time and then a lousy shot, terrible coaching job playing not to lose, they deserved to lose, nice call.

My only concern is that both these teams like to run and tend to depend on their opponents to slow the pace. It was obvious Louisville would try to slow down Kentucky, and they did. And Ohio state seemed to also have a plan to set the half court every possession, at least once they had a lead.
I just don't see either coach here saying, we better slow things down from the start. Now maybe if one team gets up 10-12 points that would change things. But my but just tells me that this one is run and gun in the first half and only slows down in the second.
Been wrong before though.
