Creighton an 8 Sedd???

Wtf this makes absolutely no sense what so ever. San Diego St who Creighton beat on the road gets a 6 seed. And if you want to try to tell me that the Mountain West is a better conference I strongly disagree. The Missouri Valley plays in a Mountain West-MIssouri Valley challenge every year. This year it ended in a tie. Wichita St beat UNLV by 19, Norther Iowa beat Colorado St and Creighton beat SDSU. This is such a kick in the nuts to Creighton. Not only do you get an 8 seed if you get by Alabama you then get to face North Carolina in North Carolina. Good job commite you really excelled a team with a top 25 rpi and only 5 losses and won their conference tournament.

Long Beach State got a 15 seed and in my opinion are every bit as good as and deserving as Creighton of a higher seed. I know Creighton beat them, but it was at the buzzer at home. Both of those teams in my opinion should be pissed.

Lots of bettors looking to fade Creighton so be happy you got a matchup where you can cover / win. Would you have rather been a 7 seed and gotten WVU, or the other 9 seeds: St Louis, UCONN?

At least you got a team that can't shoot in Bama. McDermott been in Barnes shadows for years, now he gets a chance on the big stage to ruin Barnes's college career? Whats not to like for Creighton?

&#xD;&#xA;What is your basis for this comment? How is it a joke of a conference? I believe Indiana St. beat Vanderbilt earlier in the year and what did they end up doing? Oh ok they won the SEC championship over what&#x27;s their names??? UNI beat Old Dominion, Iowa St., Colorado St. So to say the conference is a joke maybe you want to do some research first next time. &#xD;&#xA;Also does finishing terrilbe usually mean you win the conference tournamnet and finishing on a 7 game winning streak? If so I guess I am confused. yea they didn&#x27;t have a good 2 week stretch in the middle where they lost 3 games in a row but you can&#x27;t base a whole season off that. I&#x27;m sorry but your point is not valid that they finished the season any worse than a lot of teams. They may have played close games but they won a lot of them.

[/Quote]Agree completely, and last I checked the Valley was the 7th or 8th rated conference. To me that does not justify "joke of a conference" that guy needs to get his facts straight. Outside of Bradley and maybe SIU, every other team was capable of winning night in and night out.

I have no doubt the MVC conference has some very good teams in Wichita State and Creighton. I do think that Vandy was missing a player or two in that game against Indiana State though.

&#xD;&#xA;I completely agree.&#xD;&#xA; The keys to winning against bama sag off make them shoot 3&#x27;s (ususally it is a miss) and rebound the missed shots.

Why is Creighton so bad defensively? If they are leaving shooters open or turning it over leading to easy baskets Bama has capitalized this year against those teams. The teams they have struggled against are those that cover good or have a sophisticated defense to appear they have them covered. Bama has capable shooter as Randolph, Cooper, and Lacey all three shot 35% or better in high school from three point range with Cooper almost at 40%. They have each had moments just have not put it together. If they can't cover Bama shooters I really like our chances.

Creighton is an absolute joke. I watched these bums play a bit. I don't know much about Alabama, but I am still certain that they will have enough athleticism to destroy this overrated team of soft players.

The point guard play is miserable for Creighton and their bigs are so damn soft, especially Echenique. Alabama has an alley oop dunk fest on these kids.
