Bazemore went for 37 last Sat and ODU lost at home by 1 to Drexel. Now on a neutral site, Bruiser doesnt let that happen again. Good luck but give me the team with balanced scoring ( 4 guys avg DD's) against a one dimensional offense.

Tough game hitting the road after a couple marquee games at home. They did wax Maryland the first time as Maryland isn't all that great offensively when they get slowed down. Would probably point Virginia, but don't like the spot.

Not as much concerned about the pace as I am with the state of ISU's defense. Seems as if the first time these two met this year caused a downward spiral in how ISU defended. Defense went from really good to extremely awful in a hurry. Recently, it has gotten back to the really good form.
Think both meetings this year stayed below 70 possessions, should see a bit of a decline in that, and some better defense on the ISU side of things.

Yah, posted total is lower than both meetings this year. Elon has a rough match-up and they can't defend a team like Davidson coupled with the fact that Elon's going to throw up 30 three's.

Gotta pick your poison somewhere I guess. Bazemore was brilliant that game. But, so was Drexel. They hit 10 three's and the Lee kid came off the bench and put up his best game of the season. I was on Drexel, there.
I think if you're banking on Bruiser to change up the gameplan and not let Bazemore beat them again, you're asking for some taller physical guys to come off the bench and chase him around, and when you do that, you're taking some scorers out of the lineup. Not a good ingredient.
Both coaches will change things and adjust. Even with the 1 point win last week, I think Drexel's the one that has to change things up the most. Think Bruiser's 1-7 in back-to-back games last couple years (lone victory was over 4-25 Toledo team a few years back). He's taken better teams into the CAA tournament and been flat out-coached for the better part of the last five years.

I can't believe more people aren't on ODU...monsters on the boards
How many games has Drexel won in a row???
I get that..But i don't know of any team that bangs the boards like ODU....it gives me flashbacks when my Pirates were in the Colonial and ODU would crush us...than again, everyone crushes ECU in basketball...
