0-1 yesterday - Butler never recovered from a very poor start.

Clemson -4 (1 UNIT) - NC State is limping home and now they play a Clemson team that has won 3 of 4 including a 12 point win over Virginia. They also have a convincing home win over FSU in ACC play. NC State is 3-5 over their last 8 with the wins being over GT, Wake Forest, and Boston College. I think Clemson will get this game to the pace they like and as good as an OFF REB team as NC State is (33rd OFF REB%), Clemson is a pretty good rebounding team that should hold its own. Clemson will be allowed to run their stuff in the half court due to the lack of ball pressure by NC State and they will get good looks from 3PT range. If Clemson starts to make shots from deep this game will become a route.

The Citadel +9.5 (1 UNIT) - Charleston is playing good basketball to end the season. They have won 5/6 including a blowout win over Davidson. The Citadel has won 2 in a row despite having nothing to play for. This military school has kids that aren't going to quit and despite not winning a lot of games they are playing much better of late and have actually won 2 straight. Neither team has a lot to play for here so I expect the home team to stick around here.

Any thoughts on Syracuse -5 on the road?

Line seems low to me considering they already beat them this year by 18.  They can break the school record ('09-'10) for regular-season wins and conference wins today.

Syracuse can clinch the Big East regular-season title outright with a ninth straight victory, but it has struggled offensively since shooting a season-high 59 percent in an 85-67 victory over Connecticut on Feb. 11.

The Orange are averaging 60.6 points and shooting only 39 percent - well below their season averages of 76.1 points and 47.2 percent - over the last three games.

Is this the slumpbuster they need?

I am on Furman due to it being a system play.

Bama/Mississippi State thoughts...

Trevor Lacey will not play today due to an ankle injury. Big loss for the Tide because this kid was starting to feel it the last couple of games. J. Green will likely play today for Bama but I will find out before making a play. Rodney Hood for MSU will be out (started all 28 games). State hasn't been a good defensive team all year but they did hold Bama to 52 points. I like Bama at home a lot today but I will wait.

I am leaning to GA Southern in this one. If they win they clinch a bye in the Southern conference tournament. If they lose and Wofford wins I believe that Wofford gets the bye (pretty sure). Davidoson clinched the Southern conference regular season champioship in their last game and don't have anything riding on the game. GA Southern has lost only once at home this year. I hope to get this at 9 by tip.
