any1 else ready to bite on michigan plus the points?
i know it's hard to win on the road in the bigten, but 5 seems like too many points to give a well-rounded michigan team.
let's discuss and then win some youknits!

i usually take trends with a grain of salt, but it is hard to ignore what you just posted if you're already leaning towards michigan +5. i can't see this number going up

just to play devil's advocate a bit here, michigan didn't fold when they got down vs Arkansas on Saturday. I was working and didn't get to see the whole game, but if I remember correctly they were down 20 points in the first half. not saying i'm on michigan here, but your point about Mich falling apart if they get down by 6 or more doesn't really seem to fit.

Sounds like Purdue 1H may be the best play.

and michigan did not fold when they went into indiana ...a very tuff place to play!!.....and only lost by 2 there....i think purdue is the team that is more questionable than michigan....i see a close gameall the way here..... and michigan catching 5 seems to be the more realistic play since i consider them more talented than purdue!

Michigan relies on good guard play, and hitting 3 pointers. Their weakness is their lack of size. Their strength is ball control and not turning the ball over, and capitalizing on turnovers from the other team. They will struggle against good rebounding teams and/or teams that guard the 3 ball really well imo.
Haven't watched purdue play this year, so don't know much about them in terms of their rebounding, but saw they got pounded last week by the spartans....

you just described purdue also. purdue depends on the outside shot, and is very weak in the middle. during the michigan st. game, robbie hummels and ryan smith had ZERO points, Hummels and smith only points were from the free throw line. Watching both, michigan has more shooters than purdue. i am boiler and i am having a hard time seeing purdue winning this one. if they do, will be a buzzer beater.

these trends were when purdue had moore, johnson and hummel playing together. just time i saw, moore and johnson are with the boston celtics and hummels is struggling from double knee surgery. also, the big ten knows, if you stop hummel you stop purdue. lewis jackson is playing with an injuries. i think the only that is not hurting is his determination.
