One day I get burned when LAMB lays it in at the buzzer needlessly, the next i get a walk on to sink a j and get the cover with the HEELS, should have been easier than it was but when HENSON/BARNES go a combined 7/25 from the floor, it was a sweat it out type of game. Props to BAYLOR as well. 3-0 day, rolling on;
CUSE -9 (7.5U) **Hitting this line now before it hits DD for sure. Both these teams burned me last week, CUSE hurt a lot more however, especially after being up 20 some at one point in the first half, however MU is a resilient team that never goes away especially on the road and can play D. The ORANGE are rolling, especially on the road. They shut up critics in their first road test @ NC ST and since then have covered every DD road spread with ease, talk about road warriors. Watched enough of both these teams this season, and the CATS have potential, just not in this spot. The REDDING/STOKES/FISHER/PENA days are LONG gone and this team simply has no identity. A reason for their success against the ORANGE was their deep guard play,something which they don't have much of. What does it take to beat that zone? SHOOTERS..and the CATS simply haven't been able to find their shots. CHEEK 29.4% from long range, WAYNES 28.4%..just won't cut it against that ORANGE zone. The one bright spot has been YAROU imo, and I just can't see him having the game he needs going up against that ORANGE front court with the 7 footer FAB MELO clogging the paint. Furthermore, the depth of the ORANGE. Much like UNC against MIAMI, this will play huge dividends. NOVA like MIAMI roll their 5 and have a couple roll players coming off the bench. CUSE as with UNC have 2 full lineups that they can rotate. TRICHE/SOUTHERLAND/KJ all stroke it above 40% from beyond the arc, FAB is a presence down low. Also, the despicable D the CATS play..Just about every competitive team has reached their season avg against them. DEP put up 71, they avg 76. USF avgs 61, they put up 74, MARQ avgs 77, they put up 81, WV avgs 75, they put up 83, ST-Joes avgs 73, they put up 74. I think only AMERICAN U and BU didn't get close to their season avgs and that ain't saying much. Now in comes a team that hits about 50% from the floor and avgs 80 ppg....while limiting opponents to 38% from the floor and mere 60 ppg, the lone team to hit their season avg was PROVIDENCE I believe yet they still lost by 14. Simply put, the CATS don't have the shooters they did in years past to shhot above the zone, they play soft D, they don't have the size to bang with the ORANGE down low and they have zero production and zero bench to even compete. CUSE will hit in the 80's, NOVA may see 60. CUSE in a rout.

when a ranked team is 9.5 favored, they do not cover majority of the time. if you need an example just look to the louisville and providence game last night.

aszeto- oh wait, you also forgot to mention osu, did you not. vegas loves people with your lackluster mentality. never a fan of laying road chalk, but the number speak for themselves here. every game is independant of the other.

If you watched this game you realize it was a 25 point game and syracuse played an unbelievably sloppy second half to even give the chalk a sweat. Villanova is truly horrible, most the time they struggled to even get a clean shot up and if it wasn't for cuses sloppy second half cuse rolls by 35 in this one.

degengambler34 Much like UNC yesterday. BARNES/HENSON struggled yet having 2 starting line ups can still get you the cover. The refs and CUSE did everything to try and hand those CATS the cover it seemed.
