1/4/12 $$$ The Reapers First CBB Post $$$ Plenty of Plays + 5 POD's :-O

Hey Everyone! I have had an AMAZING CBB Season so far and since its the new year, i decided im going to start posting them. I hit a 2 Team Parlay of Seton Hall ML and Michigan State ML last night that hit. A great way to end my night with those two dogs winning straight up. I will always have my best plays and include write-ups. Lets Have a great remainder of the season!!!

I will use units to determine the strength of my plays. My best plays usually range for 3-5 units. While my mediocre ones will be 1 or 2 units.

ATS: 0-0-0

Underdog ML: 0-0-0

Over/Under: 0-0-0

POD: 0-0-0

*** POD #1 *** Auburn +12 vs. Florida State (4.4 units for 4.0 units)

Auburn has won its last two games and six of the last eight to move to 10-3 overall. As for Florida State, it has lost its last two games to fall to 8-5 overall. Friday's 75-73 setback to Princeton was particularly hard to swallow. Not only was the game decided in three overtimes, but it marked the first home loss of the season for FSU. The Tigers also have great history between the two owning a commanding 22-7 series advantage. Expect Auburn to knock off the 'Noles on the road tonight, as Gabriel will be too much for FSU to handle up front.

• Auburn ML (+620) (1.0 units to win 6.20 units)

*** POD #2 *** Xavier -2 vs. La Salle (4.4 units for 4.0 units)

Sure, La Salle has been perfect at home thus far, but the Musketeers have dominated this series with a redicilous 31-6 record. They also have the two best players on the court in Lyons and Holloway. For those reasons, give Xavier the edge tonight and get this win fairly easily.

Saint Joseph's/Duquesne UNDER 148 (3.3 units for 3.0 units)

Obviously the Duquesne offense has the potential to erupt for big numbers, but the Hawks are determined to keep scoring at a minimum so that they can get back into the win column tonight. Look for a good defensive effort by the Hawks as they realize they cant outshoot this Duquesne team.

Marquette +4 vs. Georgetown (2.2 units for 2.0 units)

Expect the Hoyas to hit their shots with far more regularity than they did the last time out, but the Golden Eagle aren't about to let the home team simply have their way. I would love to bet moneyline also on Marquette (one of my favorite teams), but in the end, i think Georgetown will feed off the energy of the home crowd to earn a narrow victory.

West Virginia -3 vs. Rutgers (2.2 units for 2.0 units)

While Rutgers have been good at home this season and WVU is off to a slow start on the road, the Mountaineers are more experienced and always get up to play their Big East rivals. Expect Huggins' crew to extend their winning streak over the Scarlet Knights to seven games and improve their series record to 45-26.

Duke -7.5 vs. Temple (2.2 units for 2.0 units)

Temple is sure to put its best foot forward in an attempt to pull off the upset tonight, but simply put, Duke is clearly the better team. So expect Temple to keep it close the first half, but the Blue Devils to pull away in the second half and post a solid win in hostile territory.

• 1H Duke vs. Temple +4.5 (1.1 units for 1.0 units)

*** POD #3 *** Saint Louis/Dayton UNDER 120.5 (3.3 units for 3.0 units)

One of the top defenses in the nation with just 53.0 ppg allowed, the Billikens like to slow the pace of the game and with Dayton now missing a significant contributor on offense. All this makes it look like a guarantee hit on the UNDER.

Kansas State +9 vs. Kansas (3.3 units for 3.0 units)

K-State coach Frank Martin will have his club prepared for just about anything the Jayhawks throw at them and if the Wildcats can somehow neutralize Robinson, they could be in line for the victory.

• Kansas State ML (+375) (1.0 units for 3.75 units)

Eastern Kentucky +16 vs. Murray State (1.1 units for 1.0 units)

Expect a stellar effort by both teams in this affair. As the Racers and Colonels have obvious reason to be confident. I think the linesmakers are completely underestimating the EKU team and this will be a closer game then most think. I would love to put a small play on EKU moneyline, but the edge definitely goes to Murray State in this tilt, as the home crowd will play a major role.

Illinois State vs. Missouri State -8 (2.2 units for 2.0 units)

Missouri State is playing as well as anybody right now. It will take a huge effort from Carmichael, Brown, Ekey, and Nic Moore to pull of the road victory, let alone cover the spread.

*** POD #4 *** Texas -2 vs. Iowa State (4.4 units for 4.0 units)

Iowa State has been a pleasant surprise so far this season, but has yet to prove itself against top competition. Expect a very high-scoring affair with Brown once again making the difference in the end.

• Texas/Iowa State OVER 142 (2.2 units for 2.0 units)

Iowa +8.5 vs. Minnesota (3.3 units for 3.0 units)

The loss of Mbakwe is finally starting to hit the Golden Gophers and more than likely Iowa will capitalize on that void as the Hawkeyes come away with the rare road win tonight.

• Iowa ML (+330) (1.0 units for 3.3 units)

*** POD #5 *** Syracuse vs. Providence +13.5 (3.3 units for 3.0 units)

I hate this bet sooooo much but i see value when i see it. The linesmakers couldnt be more wrong on this line. But again i hate it because its against my favorite team. Providence will put up a fight tonight in front of the home crowd and provide Syracuse with a serious scare. Not going to bet the moneyline because i think the Orange will still come away with a win, it will just be closer then i would like it to be.

yeah, alot of great play today. i looooove the lines. Train puts up this many plays too, it just looks like alot because i add writeups.
