Wow, talk about 50/50 so far. That's how it goes though when you are betting on games with large point spreads either way. I don't expect to have alot of followers right now, nor should I, I wouldn't tail someone that was (at this point) a coin flip on capping games so far. I know im going to turn this average performance around, and I hope people are following when I do it. Ok thats my pre-picks rant for this post, so LEGGO:
Syracuse Vs Providence: UNDER (139.5)
I love the under in this position, this is a perfect look ahead game on Syracuse's part with Marquette coming to the dome on Saturday. Providence has (for the most part) played Syracuse tough lately, and they are a tad bit better than those team have been. This is still only Syracuse's third true road game, and Providence is only allowing 59.3 points a game at home and while it wasen't against teams with Syracuse's talent level, I do believe the Dunkin Donuts Center brings alot out of this Providence team. With all that being said, I do expect Syracuse to win the game, and win by double digits. This is the best Syracuse defense I have saw in a very long time, but I just dont have confidence in laying money on the -13 line because I believe the final score will be right around there. In that case I look at the previous game for each team. Rutgers had a classic letdown in South Florida, and are even more motivated to get back in the W column in front of the home crowd (WV loss on the road their last game as well)
My prediction: Rutgers 70-65
My prediction: Syracuse wins: 72-62
Rutgers +3 vs West Virginia
Lets stick to the Big East shall we. There are two big things that sticks out when I look at this game. 1) West Virginia is awful on the road (outscored on average 72-55 their two true road games) and 2) The RAC is a verrrrrrry tough to play as Florida just found out a couple games ago. I love playing the look ahead card in the big east, because more often than not it comes to fruition. However in this position it doesn't come into play with both teams playing top 10 teams at home in their next game (Rutgers vs Uconn, WV vs Georgetown).
