I really, really hope the Creighton pick loses, but don't think it will.

Gonna be on the Miami money line when it comes out tomorrow.

That's the hope. Both teams commit fouls en masse, which should create a lot of opportunities for points with the clock stopped. Need someone other than Moore to show up offensively for Hofstra.

Buying out of the Manhattan-Hofstra over. Too many risks involved upon further consideration. Better plays on the board.

JFen - why do you lean Creigton agianst your boys?  I also like the under 145 in that game, whats your thoughts?  Just trying to see if we could get a quick writeup about this game cause you know them the best

I'm not gonna be able to do a full writeup, but I'm betting on Creighton for a few reasons. The Blue Jays are dynamic from the 3-point line, which has caused problems for SJU in the past. We have a bad tendency to grossly overhelp on drivers, which makes no sense given that C.J. Aiken leads the nation in blocks and can erase pretty much any shot at the rim. Another issue is guarding Doug McDermott. Our best perimeter defender is Langston Galloway, but he's only 6'2 and won't be able to really bother McDermott. Ron Roberts is 6'8 and uber-athletic, but doesn't have the lateral quickness. I also dont think the crowd is going to be as amped up as it's been in the past few games given the early start.

I'm also betting on Creighton for selfish reasons. Yes, I think they'll win, but if the Hawks can pull this off, I wouldn't exactly be upset with the 2-unit loss.

As far as the total, Creighton likes to run and SJU will gladly go up-and-down with them. But overs can be tough in 12:00 games, so I really have no lean on the total.
