What a brutal day yesterday was. I ended up going 1-3 and losing -3.28 units on the day. I alway seem to struggle the day after I sweep the board. Oh well, you need to have a short memory to be successful so lets move onto todays card.
We finally have a line for a MU game this season. Today they open up the Paradise Jam in the U.S. Virgin Islands vs a 0-2 Winthrop team that struggled in their first two games of this short season. The first loss was by 12 to W Kentucky their home opener, where they shot a horrific 36.2% from the floor and 21.1% from behind the arc. They then faced an average Virginia team that beat them by 21 points, even though they 3 point lead mid-wat through the 2nd half.
Winthrop is averaging a nominal 53.5 pts per game in their first 2 games played and giving up 70 points to teams ranked #263 & #154 in offense. MU is currently ranked #6 in offense ratings.
MU on the other hand is averaging 95 pts per game (67 pts off of 54 TOs) and holding teams to 52.5 pts per game and 35.3% shooting. Senior shooting guard DJO is shooting 65% from the field and averaging 20ppg, senior PF Jae Crowder is adding 19.5 ppg and 8 boards and junior PG Junior Cadougan is averaging 14 assists per game.
What is all comes down to is experience and upper class leadership and MU has the total advantage in that aspect. One last thing to look at is MU has won its first two games by an average of 42.5 points and is 14-5 in multi-team events since 04-05.

I'm prob gonna play -7. They should win this by 15 pts.
Actually, if you play Iona play it small. As much as I want to play it after I saw both of these teams play yesterday, something is telling me to stay away. A ML in a parlay might be ok. bol what ever you choose
