Central Mich vs. Charlotte

Explain to me how CMU is only getting two points at home.  I see an easy Charlotte victory here.  CMU plays mainly walkons and JUCOs, and struggled to beat an awful Ferris State team by five points in their opener. 

Charlotte finished .500 in the A10 last year and has most of their scoring back.  They also improved their bench with a transfer from UGA.  They blew out UNC Asheville in their opener.  Oh, who cares about that?  UNC Asheville turned around and only lost by 16 in their next game to the mighty UNC.

Someone talk me down from pushing a huge bet on Charlotte...

BTW CHARLOTTE PLAYED NC CENTRAL NOT ASHEVILLE EITHER WAY STILL WORTH A MEDIUM PLAY FOR ME.

They were a pathetic 2-14 last year in the A10!!!!!

They beat NC Central the other day and not NC Asheville!

As an SJU student, I am ardent follower of the A-10 and read over a dozen previews of the conference. Xavier and Temple are the unanimous top two teams in the conference.

Charlotte was tabbed somewhere between 6th and 13th depending on the previewer.

Please don't post blatantly wrong crap like this.

yes,I've read 2 diff mags and Char is picked 4th in one,and 12th in the other. Athlons has them 12th,and Sporting News has them 4th. I'm still on Char tonight though,good luck,but have not seen them anywhere near 2nd in the A-10

All that being said, 6th or 13th they still may be better than CMU...but there's likely better games to wager on IMO.

I am a Charlotte grad and huge fan. We did not finish any where near 500 in the A 10. We finished 13th out of 14 teams and no one is picking us higher than 4th than I have seen. We did not play Asheville the 1st game either. We played NC Central. The only thing in this form that is correct is that we are one of the most improved teams from last year. I definitely see a hard fought close game tonight as we are relatively young and inexperienced. I am laying a small amount on Charlotte at -2 as I feel they are slightly undervalued b/c of last seasons performance. I would not bet the farm on this inexperienced team on the road but would(and will) put a small wager on the more talented team to cover this low of a number.

The people here who come to share information and help each other win care. It's one thing to make typos. It's another thing to state a team was .500, beat a team it didn't play and to say they are picked to 2nd in a conference when it couldn't be further from the truth. WTF are you here for?
