Good luck to everyone this upcoming season

William and Mary +8 vs St Johns
-St Johns lost a ton from last year, and that might be an understatement, might take a few weeks for this team to gel and rebound.  W&M returning key players, like them to hang throughout this game.

Valpo +14 vs Arizona
Arizona lost Derrick Williams who was one of the top players in the country.  They have some talent coming in hence their #16 rank to start the season, but they have struggled a bit so far.  Like St Johns, I think this team will start gelling more and more as the season goes on, but for now I'll gladly take the 14 in this one.

best of luck to you, but i think 137.5 is too high for this St. Johns vs W&M game.


W&M lives and dies by the three, and i think the foreign gym could cause them to be off, and St. Johns is very young and will be working out the kinks in this game. i look for this game to be played in the low 60's and this should finish under the posted total.

jdn- I took that into consideration actually, I question why the number is so high, and if its either books still getting a feel for the early season, or if its baiting us into taking the under.  It also seems like more % of people are tailing the under for those reasons you said as well, I'm gonna bite on the other way.

No way does W&M cover that spread.  This isn't March and the easy 2 and points in the paint both heavily favor St. Johns.

Chump- Theres multiple ways to look at that game, St Johns being so well coached with Lavin that he will have them prepared and ready to go.  But the inexperience angle with a bunch of younger guys could mean for sloppy play and turnovers, also wonder if it being early in the year jitters for the younger kids.  Good Luck to you either way

Regarding the Miss St game I really didnt even delve into it too much, I might check it out if I get some time but at the moment its a no play for me.

word is lavin wont even be with the team today as he continues to battle cancer,

so HE wont have anyone ready  to go...

Wow your right I completely forgot about that today lol, yes thats actually one of the factors I had in the W&M bet.  No Lavin, plus a few of the young guns they got are ineligible, might be a makeshift St Johns we see until things settle down up there.

i think this screams UNDER. teams play tight, trying to work out some things on offense.

Wish I had gotten W&M at 10 but ill accept 8, yes it definitely screams under...almost seems too easy..good luck every1!

1-2 night, not too bad though as the units start smaller to begin the year getting a feel for things...W&M got a little cold at the very end of the game which killed the over that started to heat up late in the 2nd half
